Alex blinks a couple of times in an attempt to adjust to the light that was flowing into the room. She was sat on a chair, her hands chained to the wall behind her, and her feet bound to the floor.

"It's good of you to finally wake up," Sabini greets, walking into her eye line.

"What do you want?" Alex asks.

"You see, Andor, although he was an acquired taste, was one of my favourite men-" Sabini states, staring at Alex incredulously when she scoffs.

"What?"

"You might want to rephrase that sentence," Alex suggests, "unless of course, you have the acquired taste for your favourite man."

"The point is," Sabini states, "how does it look that one of my men is dead, whilst the person that did it is still walking around unscathed, it just doesn't sit right with me. Would it sit right with you?"

"No," Alex responds.

"So you understand what I have to do?" Sabini asks.

"I understand that Andor must have told you about how they kept me in Hungary, and that you have attempted to replicate that," Alex says.

"Attempted?"

"I've got a window and a door now," Alex shrugs, causing the chains around her wrists to rattle, "my question to you is, will you actually be able to kill me? It's well known that you can't fight, that's why you walk around with so much protection."

"It's also why, your men had to beat my brother within an inch of his life before you actually did something, and all you did was take a tooth out... with a knife. You've never killed or tortured a person in your life, Sabini, you've only ever paid others to do it for you, will that change?" Alex asks.

"Trust me, Miss Shelby, I will be the one that kills you, but not yet, perhaps not even today, or tomorrow, it'll be painful, that I promise you," Sabini responds.

"Exciting," Alex says.

-

"With the amount of times your checking on me, I'm starting to think you might be obsessed," Alex states, as Sabini enters the room for the fifth time in two hours.

She was telling the time based on the shadows the sun was making in the room.

"It's not all as flattering as you might think," Alex says, watching as another man enters the room with Sabini.

"Check her for weapons," Sabini orders.

"Afraid to get too close?" Alex taunts, as the man ventures closer to her.

She was only in her shirt and suit trousers, her jacket must've been removed when they were chaining her up.

"You seriously didn't think to check if I had any weapons on me up until now?" Alex asks, "fucking hell, how are you running London?"

The man pats down each of her legs, moving up to her arms. Smirking down at her, he begins to undo the buttons of her shirt. He trails a hand down her stomach, and Alex rolls her eyes, jamming the palm of her hand into his face and breaking his nose.

"I may be in chains, but I can still move my fucking hands," Alex remarks, "it's not like I'm fully restrained you bloody moron."

-

"Where have you been?" Tommy asks, walking into the kitchen, finding his aunt sat with Michael.

"We've been looking for you all fucking night, Pol," Arthur states.

"Boys, this is your cousin, Michael," Polly responds, "Michael, this is Arthur, Tommy, and John."

"Alex is gone," John says, "she went outside last night and nobody has seen her since, all we found was her lighter."
