I honestly don't think I'd last a whole day with his penetrating gaze on me.

I've only been with him for at least 10 minutes and I'm still fiddling with my fingers and nipping onto my lip.

"I'm sorry. I was studying all night, so I kind of slept in." Somewhat true.

I know how 'business' people are. They're so impatient. I have met, way too many in the Cafe.

Now you know why I'm so stereotypical with such rich people. They annoy me. I look down at my shoes, slightly wriggling my toes. God I need new shoes.

"Take all the time you need Miss Greene." He stands tall and strolls towards the desk chair, grabbing my cardigan and walking my way.

He holds it up for me. Timidly, I turn around, slipping my arms through the sleeves as he pulls it on. I screw my eyes close at the contact of his hands on my shoulders.

"Thanks." I muttered.

"Always a pleasure."

Hesitantly, I walk away from him and back to my wardrobe, avoiding his steady eyes. When I look at him, he's looking at my study notes. He looks intrigued. Nothing special about study notes. Weirdo.

"You have exams tomorrow?" He questions me, eyes still on my notes. He grabs hold of my folder, looking humoured at the state of it. I've had it since high school. I don't plan on throwing it away anytime soon. The damage on it brings back good memories.

"Ah, Yeah." I shut the doors and turn on my heel. Leaning against my wardrobe, I watch him intensely, taking advantage at his half vulnerable state. I feel slightly uncomfortable that he's looking through my stuff. I guess it’s better than my lingerie.

I blush at the thought.

"I wish you luck Miss Greene, though your notes say you are more than capable of achieving a degree in English." He winks at me and snaps the folder shut. I slightly flinch at the noise as he drops it on the desk, causing an unneeded thud.

"Do you have a degree in English?" I question, though I didn't want too.

"No." He shrugs his shoulders. I frown, oh this is new.

"Bu-"

"Don't." He glares at me slightly, giving me the don't-ask-me-anymore-questions look. My lips are instantly glued shut.

Phsyco.

He sighs as if exasperated. "Are you ready?" When he speaks again, it's a lot gentler, and I can see the annoyance in his eyes that he's fighting to hide.

I swallow hard and nod.

"Yeah. Lets go." I mumbled less than confidently.

I grab my card from my wallet and slip it into my jean back pocket. Anticipation built up on me as my heart began to beat. I can feel his presence behind me when I open the door for him. He grabs my wrist and pulls it away from the door knob and I find I'm holding my breath. The same exhilarating currents radiating through me from his touch.

"Breathe Victoria." His voice is right in my ear and I feel chills springing down my spine.

He opens the door for me, slowly reaching over and around my shoulder.

"I'm a strong believer in Ladies First." He stands aside, and ushers me out.

I let out a breath and walk through, ignoring his stare. Silence filled the room as we made our way downstairs, and I'm not worried about falling on my face because I know Zayns behind me.
