I groaned in my chair

Me: Dude I'm hungry..

E looked at his watch

E: Okay finish a few more papers then we could go grab some food together.

Me: Should we get Jasmine some food? I know we are kinda in the dog house. Supposed to be given her some space but.... Idk

He sat down in his usual spot across from my desk 

E: Uhhh.... I heard from her yesterday. She wanted to talk about basically the things we discussed during our fight. We spoke about some things and i think we are in a better standing now. But i can tell me picking a fight with her really upset her. I guess dropping off some food wouldn't hurt right 

I nodded signing another form

Me: Okay cool.. let me just finish this then we can g-

We both looked to the door as there was a loud knock.

E: You expecting someone today boss?

I looked at him shaking my head. I don't remember scheduling anyone to come up here today. 

I was about to talk when the door swung open revealing my dad. I tensed in my seat and could see E-woo leaning onto his other foot. His temper was very short when it came to my dad.

He stared at both of us before entering the room, closing the door behind him.

Dad: Well, are you both going to greet me or?

E: Or?

he said raising his brow...I had to stop myself from laughing.

My dad huffed walking over to the other chair and sitting in it before his eyes slowly gazed around the room.

Me: Dad what are you doing here... this is not the date we discussed to meet.

Dad: You never sent me the address when i asked.... I knew you changed your office location. Just not where to.

E: And some how you still showed up un announced.

I huffed going back to looking at the forms in front of me

Dad: Why do you still keep him around... I told you i could provide you with a better second hand man... one less opinionated.

Me: Dad cut to the chase.... why are you here. Hopefully it's not to just belittle my best friend

Dad: Well.... I've been hearing a lot lately about my son closing a few deals. You managed to get a deal I couldn't with Mr. Min. I am impressed

My heart fluttered at him telling me he was impressed by me.

Dad: Although.... a deal with both him and his business partner Mr. Jung would have been an even greater achievement. 

I rolled my eyes mentally. 

E: Welp that says a lot for a guy who couldn't even get one deal sealed... Stretching a second one is ironic coming from you.
