Your laughter could be heard miles away. Your stomach was hurting and tears were in your eyes because of your friend Kate. She was telling you a story about how she tripped on a flower.
Yes, a flower.
She playfully slapped your arm. "Hey! It wasn't funny! I could have gotten hurt!" That made you laugh even more. All of a sudden someone clearing their throat caused you to turn around. There stood your girlfriend Wanda. She was what people called, possessive. She would trap you in the house all day and take care of you.
She would always tell you, 'You don't need anyone else, but me.' and 'Mommy knows best.' At first it was embarrassing and you were so stubborn, but you soon learned to accept the fact that she wasn't gonna let you go. You were hers and she was yours.
Every month she lets you go to any place you want for being such a good girl and this month, you chose to hang out with your friend, Kate. "Oh, Kate this is my girlfriend Wanda, Wanda this is Kate." You introduced them. "Oh, you have a girlfriend?" It was almost like she said her name in disgust. "Yeah, I'm her girlfriend." Wanda had a stern expression on her face.
The tension was thick between the two as you looked back and forth. "Anyways, sweetheart, it's time to go home." A frown forms in your face as you look at the time. "But, it's only been an hour. You said 2 hours." You saw Wanda's eyes turn dark as you talked back. "Y/n, I said it's time to go." She repeated once more. She hates to repeat herself.
You huffed loud. "But I don't wanna go!" A whine escaped your mouth. "Y/n, what did I say?" You looked down is shameful. "It's time to leave." You mumbled. You started to get up, but skating's voice stopped you. "Just because you want to leave, doesn't mean she has to go. You leave."
You looked at Kate like she was crazy. Does she not know who Wanda is? "O-oh no, it's o-ok." You tried once more getting up, but Kate grabbed your wrist. "No, you're not leaving until we finish our conversation." You looked back at Wanda and she was staring at Kate with red eyes.
You truly didn't want this night to end so soon, plus Wanda promised you two hours and now it's one? What's the harm? Wanda never breaks her promises so you'll help her. "Alright, what's the harm in that?" Kate smiled and pulled you beside her while Wanda's tongue poked her cheek.
"Call me when your ready to leave." Her voice was soft and she smiled at the two of you before walking out to the car. It scared you really. She obviously didn't want you to stay with Kate, but now you're sitting next to her. "Now, back to my story." She continued. She ordered food, and y'all even went dancing. You had a great time.
You two were walking outside to her car. You forgot all about what Wanda said. You two entered the car and she started driving. Silence took over in the car as music played from the radio. "So Y/n, how's you and Wanda." You know that Kate has liked you for some years now, but you always friend zoned her.
"Good, we really love each other and we've been together for almost 8 months." (Not counting the months she stalked you.) "Why'd you ask?" You love Wanda when she isn't mad, but when she is, it makes you think twice.
