"Why didn't you pull out?", Alicia, my girlfriend, asks me, frowning as she lays beside me on the bed.

"Because I didn't want to..."

"I'm gonna get pregnant, bruh! You remember I'm just 18 yeah?", She rolls her eyes.

"18 is grown, mama", I pout.

"No it ain't..."

"You look cute asf frowning like that", I chuckle and sit up.

I grab my rolling tray and roll some backwoods.

My phone rings and I hand the backwoods to Alicia and she puffs the smoke in my face.

It's my mom.

"Hey mama. Yeah I haven't talked to her for two weeks now. She doesn't pick my calls or reply any of my texts. I go to her house always, she never opens up...
Okay mama, I'll check on her again", I say and drop the phone.

"You are leaving?", Alicia pouts as I start dressing up.

"I gotta go see my sister", I kiss her cheek.

"Aight. You gon call me?"

"You know I will", I smile.

"Okay baby", she hugs me.

"I love you", I hug back.

"I love you too daddy", she whispers and I pull away from the hug.

"Careesa!", I call out as I keep knocking on her door without getting any answer.

I twist the doorknob and the door goes wide open.

"How could you leave the door opened like that?", I keep calling out for her but no response.

I dial her number but it's switched off.

I go into her room as I keep calling her but she isn't there.

"Careesa, why you sleeping on the floor?", I frown a lil as I see her laying flat on the bathroom floor.

"If yo sleepy ass wanna sleep so bad, there's a king sized bed in your room and the bathroom is where you wanna sleep", I move closer to her but she doesn't budge.

"Careesa, I been hearing pregnant people sleep a lot. Ion know it's this bad", I suck my teeth and keep tapping her

Her body feels cold.

"Careesa!", I place my hand on her wrist and her pulse is seizing.

My eyes wander to the bottle of drugs that is scattered on the floor.

"Careesa!", I begin to fidget.

I bring my phone out of my pocket and dial 911.

The ambulance soon arrives and she's taken to the hospital.
