43. Defend it princess

"What do you think maxi.... when will she come? " yes ... I was talking to my horse maximus out of excitement...

And I was answered by the neigh.. maximus was very happy to be back in action... he neighed happily whenever I  talked to him about rudra.......

God I was so impatient... I couldn't wait to see my rudra... she should have been here anytime....

I was just flustered and wandering around the field with a stupid grin on my face.

I saw my royal adviser surjeet near bleachers. He bowed as soon as he noticed me. He was smiling ear to ear looking at my impatient self.

No one had ever seen me behave like a teen boy in love.... they have always seen a strong and powerful  Yuvraj....

But now?...Surely I must look like a fool with this smiling face... But hey... i dont care right now... I am so excited to meet rudra.

My teammates were saddling up their horses.. going through last minute preparation for match... and here I was staring at the entrance just to see my lady luck.. yes..  I was waiting for rudra.. I was going crazy...

I didn't know if rudra had ever seen polo match... It would be her first experience at polo... and I wanted to make it the best one... I can win any cup if my lady luck is with me....

Match was about to get start .... but rudra had not arrived yet.... rakshu had informed me that they have left from the palace... then why it was taking her so long.. I was stompping my feet impatiently..

But then...

I saw ruchi.

I thought
"Why was she even here? If I am not wrong rakshu can never send invite to princess ruchi...."

My mood changed immediately. I glared at surjeet.... he quickly looked at ruchi and dialed some number. I think he had called raksha.

Ruchi was coming towards me.... she smiled wide when I looked at her.... this was not seeming to go in a good direction.

She reached to my side and tried to pet my horse; maximus. But maximus moved his head down to avoid her touch...

Usually I didn't mean to sound rude to princess ruchi. But I couldn't hold back then.

"Princess ruchi,  you might want to step back from my maximus. He doesn't really enjoy the petting from strangers"

Ruchi smirked evil, and said,
"Well, this horse is pretty good looking.. perfect for me... otherwise I would have gotten his little attitude in check by myself. Just starve this shitty horse and beat the shit out of it... then it well learn to be at its place.. at my feet...."

I scoffed in disbelief.... i was stunned and disgusted. This girl infront of me... might be a pretty face but she was evil. She dared to speak of torturing my maximus... that too infront of me...

Ranvijay - "if this is your way of getting respect ... then I must tell you, you will be so disappointed.  Because.... all you will get is hate. And nothing much... you will not even get called a human being... let alone a princess"

Ruchi glared at me with dark expressions.
"You know ronny... I don't care of I get hate or disgust from people... I only care if I get love from you...."

I was raging to listen this. What does she think.... last time i explained her everything.  I had told her already that i am bethrowed to rudra. But still... still ruchi is standing in front of me asking for my love? Has she gone crazy? I thought to myself...
