39. still a disbelieve

Third person's point of view

It was a new day, new morning in the devgiri. The sun had risen up much earlier. But a certain someone was still fast asleep.

Rudrayani was still fast asleep. She was now curled up in the soft and warm blankets.

The risen sun was shinning with his soft morning sunrays on the devgiri royal palace. The city streets were getting busy with morning hustle and bustle.

The weather was so pleasant with the sweet morning breezes. The breeze moved the curtains of rudrayani's balcony and the bright sunrays began peeking into yuvrani's suite through the curtains of the east faced balcony.

As the sunrays kept falling on rudrayani's face as if giving her the first morning kiss. Rudrayani's groggily rubbed her eyes with back of her hands. She was half awake now.

And rudrayani could hear hushed whispers from a distant. She became alert and quickly opened her eyes.

Her immediate reaction was to look around her surroundings. She was stunned to find herself in a ginormous great room.

All she could remember was her first flight in jet before she fell asleep.

" I was in the plane right? " Rudrayani asked herself. She quickly averted her eyes down, she was still in her earlier dress.

"Hmm.. I am sure I remember the flight... I was in that plane. I was besides Ranvijay and  we were talking and then ...I think.... I fell asleep... but i dont remember coming into this huge room.... was i that fast asleep that i walked in my sleep..?"
Rudrayani chuckled at herself for her stupid sleepy head.

But soon, a sentence fell on rudra's ears..
"Yes... she was that fast asleep.... you won't believe.  Our Yuvrani was so cute sleeping like a baby."
And a feats of giggling could be heard.

This grabbed rudra's attention completely. Whoever they were... they were definitely talking about her. Rudrayani looked for the source of the laughter.

She reached to the balcony railing.
And a random morning breeze sent shivers over rudra's body.

And much to her surprise there was a group of ladies who were standing in the garden area just below the balcony. They were talking to eachother , laughing freely. Their carefree laughter also brought a subtle smile on rudra's lips without her knowing.

One of those ladies continued,
" yes... she is right.. I was appointed  last night to welcome her highness at the airport. But you know what ...."

"Oh come on, please tell na... what happened... "

"Aww... you should have seen our Yuvrani.... she was asleep like a small baby and our Kavar sa was carrying her highness as if she is a delicate flower... My single soul almost left my body seeing such lovely couple ..." The lady gushed with a bright blush on her cheeks

"That's not all... you know... when our maharani sa came with the aarati thali to welcome our Yuvrani, Kavar sa was standing at the palace gate; that too carrying our Yuvrani in his arms protectively. He was not ready to let Yuvrani go. He said he dont want to break Yuvrani's sleep... ohh... Girls, guess what I think I am dying single. Kavar sa have raised my expectations ... how i wish i also get a life partner like our kavar sa..."

"Yes, yes... I know ...I was there too.. our Yuvrani and kavar sa are made for eachother. They match with eachother so perfectly as if thy are pieces of puzzle. No one will ever believe they were apart all these years"

"They were apart for years but our Yuvrani was snuggled so close to kavar sa as if she always belong with him only... aww... my poor heart could bearly contain their love..."
