Eliza

"SAM, don't you know how I got home yesterday?" I don't know how many times I've asked Sam that since this morning.

Sam sighed like she was giving up,"god! Eliza, how long are you going to ask me that question over and over again?" Umupo ito sa gilid ng kama."My answer is still the same, I don't know. I'm so drunk you just said you were going to the restroom then you never came back to our table"

Walang lakas akong napaupo sa kama ni Sam, paano na lang kung may ibang taong naghatid sa 'kin pauwi? Pero nakauwi naman akong ng ligtas sa bahay ng parents ko, paano na lang pala kung may ginawa akong katangahan kagabi?

Para akong tangang napasabunot sa buhok ko.

I felt Sam tap me on the back."Don't overthink...by the way, what are you doing here? Aren't you coming to the office? And where is your new hubby?"

"Nothing, it's my rest time—" napatigil ako sa pagsasalita ng may maalala,"shit! Nakalimutan ko may trabaho pa pala ako sa opisina!"

I hurried out of Sam's room even though my hair was a mess and I wasn't wearing office attire. I got into my car and quickly drove it, parked it in the parking lot, before I got out of the car I fixed myself and got dressed inside my car. My car is tinted so nothing to worry about.

"Where's my secretary?" Takang tanong ko ng madaanan ko ang table nito.

"Good morning po ma'am, nandito po siya kanina pero umalis siya nagmamadali pa nga. Mukha ng emergency." Si Mrs. Choi 'yon ang team leader.

Napatango-tango ako saka nginitian si Mrs. Choi bago pumasok sa loob ng opisina ko.

Sino naman uutusan ko magpapirma nito kay Adonis? Hayst!

Ako na lang kaya? No! Ayoko. But it's business, walang personal matter akong kailangan sa kaniya.

I sighed and run my fingers on my hair, wait what? why am I having second thoughts about signing this to Adonis?

Tsked, whatever!

After a fight; fighting with my self, i just found myself outside the closed door of Adonis' office. I took a deep breath when Adonis' secretary opened the door and waved his hand to let me in, I smiled at him before I went in, only to see that Adonis was busy with his laptop while one hand was holding a paper.

Inayos ko muna ang suot ko bago ako naglakad palapit sa table niya.

"Ahm.." Tumikhim ako ng nasa harapan na ako ng table ni Adonis.

Adonis's attention went to me, he was looking at me with furrowed brows, am I not welcome?

I was just standing and he just stared at me, it's a little bit awkward but I can handle it.

"Ahm..." I cleared my throat again before i spoke,"Good morning Mr. Sullivan, i'm here because i need your signature here" I placed the white portfolio on his desk.

Adonis said nothing and just signed it. Kinuha ko na yung portfolio nang matapos 'yong pirmahan ni Adonis. Bahagya ko siyang nginitian pagkatapos kong sabihing,"thank you"

Walang likod akong umalis sa opisina niya at kaagad na bumalik sa opisina ko. When I sat down in my chair just as my cellphone rang, i took a deep breath before answering Yaser's call.

I force myself to sound happy,"hey...how are you?"

"Good, how about you? Do you eat yet?" Yaser looked at his wristwatch, "it's past lunch"

"Y-yes, i already ate. Anyway are you still busy?"

"Yeah" tinignan ni Yaser ang mga papel na nakatambak sa lamesa niya,"but I'm pretty that I can go home next week"

I smiled,"I'm relieved"

Yaser chuckled, "I know" suddenly hi secretary enter to his office to inform him about his meeting, Yaser sighed."Need to hang up now, I have a meeting"

"Okay, bye"

"Bye"

After the call, I just stared at my cellphone.

ah! I miss him

MY DAY go on and on, work after work, nothing's new. Just one more day and Yaser will be back here in the Philippines to be with me, so I'm finishing my jobs so we can spend time with each other.

I'm currently entering the elevator to go to a board meeting, almost everyone inside the elevator greeted me "good afternoon" and I just smiled at them when my cellphone rang, i smile widened when i saw that it was Yaser.

"Hey" I said smiling.

"Hey to you too, excited to see me?"

I chuckled but stopped immediately when the people in the elevator looked at me,"yeah just one more day"

The elevator opened on the 25th floor so people got out of the elevator and I was the only one left.

"Anong gusto mong pasalubong?" Sambit ni Yaser sa wikang Tagalog pero may halong accent.

Gusto ko siyang asarin pero baka mahiya kaya wag na lang,"anything"

"Anything it is, need to go bye!"

"Bye"

Nakangiting nakatitig lang ako sa cellphone ko nang may magsalita mula sa likuran ko.

"Guess you're happy with him"

Muntikan pa akong mapatalon mula sa kinatatayuan ko at mabilis na nilingon ang nagsalita. It was Adonis.

Hindi ko man lang napansin siya kanina o sadyang hindi lang ako nagbigay pansin? Tsk whatever.

"What?" Hindi ko kasi masiyadong naintidihan.

"Nothing" sabi niya sakto namang bumukas na ang elevator sa 50th floor at nauna ng naglakad sa 'kin palabas si Adonis.

I also walked out and as soon as we entered the meeting room it started right away.

Yaser
(first pov niya mga bebs)

I stared at my cellphone after I called my girlfriend Eliza, the first time I saw Eliza at my friend Rozk's house, I fell in love immediately.

I made Rozk the way to find out about Eliza and one of the things I already knew was that she was divorced from her husband— but I didn't know her husband's name; ex husband now. I tried to court her then and i was rejected again and again until now she has moved on and is now my girlfriend.

I really love her to the point I'm being so possessive.

"Sir, she's here" aniya ng sekretarya kong si Asula.

Tinanguan ko siya at pinapasok naman niya ang kameeting ko. Isang babaeng familiar hindi ko alam kung saan ko siya nakita.

"Take a seat" inayos ko ang suot kong suit bago ako naglakad palapit sa pangisahang sofa kaharap ang ka-meeting ko.

"I'm Yaser Silvain" I extended my hand to him.

The woman accepted the handshake and smiled,"nice to meet you mr. Silvain. I'm Katarina Lacosta."
