Abala ako sa pagbabalat ng mansanas para papa habang si mama naman ay nakaupo sa upuang nasa gilid lang ng hospital bed ni papa, mabuti na ang kapagayan ni papa means makakauwi nako sa US; pwedeng bukas o kaya naman pagka-discharge niya.

Hindi ko pa rin makontak si Yaser. Siguro busy siya? Ito ang unang beses na hindi kami nag usap, galit ba siya? No, nagusap naman kami at nagka-intindihan kaya malabong galit siya sa 'kin.

Napabuntong hininga na lang ako maguusap na lang kami pag kauwi ko sa US. I cut the apple into small pieces then put it on the saucer and handed it to dad, I returned to the small table then poured water into the glass when someone knocked.

I opened the door and Adonis appeared to me, we were still staring at each other so I was the first to look away and inform my parents.

"Dad, Adonis is here" I said and their attention turned to Adonis who closed the door and walked towards to my parents.

And as usual my father was happy to see Adonis and they started talking, I just let them talk and walked closer to dad to hand him his water. Inaantay kong maubos ang tubig na ibibigay ko kay papa pagkatapos nitong uminiom ibinalik ko ang paso sa lamesa at umupo naman ako sa tabi ni mama sa sofa— sa paanan ng hospital bed.

"May problema ka ba?Pansin ko ang tahimik mo ngayon" gagad ni mama ng makaupo ako sa tabi niya.

Umiling lang ako,"wala po"

Mama pinched the bridge of my nose,"don't lie, I feel you have a problem. Now tell me"

Malalim akong napabuntong hininga at sasagot na sana ako ng may kumatok sa pintuan. Napakunot noo pa ako at nagtatakang tumingin sa pintuan, may bisita pa bang inaasahan si papa?

Tumayo ako at naglakad palapit sa pintuan na nagtataka pa rin saka binuksan ito.

I gaped when I saw who was outside the door, unable to move, shocked, surprised.

"Yaser..." Bangit ko sa pangalan niya ng matauhan ako pero shocked pa rin. "Y-your here..."

"Hi babe, surprise" Yaser gave a sweet smile.

The shock I felt was replaced by satisfaction, I hugged Yaser with a big smile, could I not contact him because this is the reason?

I looked up at him while still hugging my two arms around his waist, "how did you know where I was?"

Sa pag kakatanda ko hindi ko sinabi sa kaniya kung nasaan ako pwera lang kay Media.

"to Media, I asked him yesterday after we talked" Yaser said then affectionately kiss my forehead." I miss you"

My smile widened and i leaned my head on his chest before saying, "I miss you too."

Our sweet moment was interrupted by someone fake a cough and I immediately realized that i was in the hospital room— my father's hospital room to be exact. Gosh! I totally forgot them.

Humiwalag ako kay Yaser saka hinawakan siya sa kamay at hinila siya papasok.

All eyes are on Yaser

"Mom, dad this is Yaser my boyfriend" I introduced Yaser to my parents with a smile on my lips.

"Wow!" My mom said in awe," my daughter knows how to pick, good job" my mom even thumbs up to me"

"Hello ma'am and sir" Yaser said politely to my parents.

"Ma, pa alis muna kami ng boyfriend ko"

"N—"

Bago pa man masabi ni dad ang gusto niyang sabihin nagsalita na si mama.
