I feel myself get hot and my hands start to tighten. I get up and rush out of the gym doors for fresh air. I couldn't stand it anymore, I can't keep on pretending im okay when im not. Im a fucking mess, I run my fingers through my hair messing up my bandana "Oh fuck." I say
I feel someone tap on my shoulder and I look back quickly, Its finney. He has the most concerned face on "Finney.." i say before i hug him tightly "its okay robin. Its okay" He says squeezing me back
"its not fine finney. W-what if they don't-" "There is no what if robin. They will find her. I promise you" He says, I let go of finney "Right.." I say "im gonna head back to the gym. I'll see u in there alright?" Finney says
I nod and finney walks away into the gym. "now i have to fix my hair" i groan. I walk over to the bathroom but hear voices "No one really gives a fuck about y/n" "Right!" "Y/n was just some random bit-" I kick the door open and the boys go silent
"y/n's just a what?" i say walking to the boy who said it. He backs up but i grab him by the collar "Finish your fucking sentence" I say griping the collar of his shirt even tighter
"i- i-" he studders "Spit it out. Or are you afraid?" i say. He whimpers and i let go, I walk over to the mirror and put on my bandana, The boys stand there in the back afraid about what they think will happen next.
I finish putting on my bandana and say "If i hear one of you assholes ever talking about y/n like that again i'll put you in a hospital...Understood?" i say. They stay quiet, I turn to look at them "UNDERSTOOD?" I yell and they quickly nod yes
"Scram." i say before they bolt out of the door. They didn't even know y/n and they still had the nerve to talk about y/n like that? Fucking assholes. I walk out the bathroom and into the gym where everyone is ready to leave with their classes
I walk over to gwenny and finney and the others, They all looked like they wanted to cry at the news they just heard. "i just cannot believe it." Vance says with tears in his eyes
I've never seen vance fucking hopper get sad before, It was shocking. Very. Very. Shocking. I look over at donna and shes already silently crying, Finney walks over to her and hugs her.
She hugs finney back tightly "Shes gone finney.." "She'll be back donna, I promise.." He says. Bruce takes a deep breath "This is all of my fault man." He says with a shaky voice
Gwenny hugs him and he just looks dead. Bruce really loved y/n...So did I. I remember all the times i was such a jerk to y/n, I get hot again. Why was I such a fucking asshole man.
For the rest of the day it was just silence and the students working meanwhile the teachers were gossiping. They were loud. Finney was sitting next to me thank god, "Hey uh do u wanna go to the movies later to take our mind off of all of this?" "sure!" Finney responds
The bell rings and I walk out of the class "Oh robin!" Finney yells chasing after me. I stop walking "Uh i don't have any money so how will we pay for snacks?" He asks "I'll get some. Now i gotta go, See you finn :)" i say
Finney waves me goodbye and i continue to walk, y/n was a somewhat well known girl, And she was even more well known because missing posters of her were EVERYWHERE. I knew as soon as I got home my parents would ask me over and over again what happened or if i knew her
And i don't think they know i know her but its whatever. I make it home and my little brother is running around the house with his costume on and my older sister is chasing him telling him its not halloween yet.
My parents are in the living room with a missing poster of y/n, my heart gets heavy once again. I lean on the door frame and my parents look at me quickly "Sorry mijo" My ma says getting up to hug me
"Ma- im okay." I say as i hug her back "I know...Oh uh robin im sorry about your friend.." I look at my mom shocked. How did she know me and y/n were friends! "Your sister told me" My mom whispers and she winks at me. I look over at my sister and she runs up the stairs screaming
I chase after her but then remember the movie day i have with finney, I needed to get the snacks. "oh shit." i say running back down the stairs and out the door with some money in my pocket "Robin!" My mom yells
I look back at her and say "i'll be back. I promise." She sighs and nods. I smile at her and leave, i begin to walk in hopes of finding a candy jackpot. But as I walk farther and farther a black van shows up. It parks and a strange white man hops out of the black van.
He has groceries in his hands but they already look like they're about to fall out, This guy looks fucking sketchy as hell. The grocery bags fall out and he laughs annoyed, "Well would you look at that." He says picking up cracked eggs
"Can you please help me?" He says "Uhm. Fuck no." i say, There is no fucking way im trusting this guy. Plus i need to be safe. I continue to walk but i get put into a arm lock, I scream in terror.
I act quick and bite the mans arm, He screams in pain and i go for his eyes. I dig my fingers deep into the mans eyes but then i get sprayed. Im in pain, My throat begins to burn and my eye sight begins to fade out..
"Hijo de puta." I think to myself before i black out. No fucking way.
