"I can't carry this anymore," She cried.

"I'm so sorry."

He held her as close as possible to his chest and reassuringly rubber her back as she repeated her unnecessary apology over and over again.

She sobbed everything out that night. All the pain, fear, hurt... all of it. Her emotions flooded through her all the time, and she could hold herself through it just fine, but this was like a tsunami. She tried, she really did, but she couldn't lie to herself anymore.

"I can't carry this alone anymore."
