"Now, tell me why I am seeing my princess getting chummy with that guy, hmm?" He questioned, running the back of his fingers along my cheek.

Tingles followed the trail of his touch. The predatory glint in his eyes made my heart thump against my chest. As his thumb stroked my lower lip I found my eyes closing, anticipating his lips next.

Antarang booped my nose instead, making me open my eyes. "You think a kiss will get you out of this?" He mused. My cheeks burned with embarrassment.

I huffed. "The only thing I need to get out of is this room so that I don't have to stay in here with a caveman." I glared at him, remembering how he behaved just an hour ago.

"And she's got attitude."

I jutted out my chin, showing him the said attitude.

He gave me an amused look. "So this is how it's going to be?" He taunted before leaning down. Not wanting to be fooled again, I kept my glare intact.

But when his lips connected with my neck and started doing their wonders- right there at the sweet spot- unconsciously my eyes closed once again, savoring the feeling. His hands gripped my waist and pulled me closer. My hands moved to grab his shoulders to support my now wobbly legs.

"I didn't like how he was looking at you," Antarang murmured between the kisses, "and you... You have plenty of company here, but you still chose to sit with him."

A sharp sting stopped my reply, allowing me only a whimper. I clutched his shoulders as he mercilessly attacked me. The pain mixed with pleasure and I heard myself moaning. Slowly, he moved down to my collarbone, each kiss followed by a bite and littering my skin with bruises. He dropped a final kiss as though sealing some kind of deal.

I bet my face was flaming red when he shifted back to look at me.

"Princess, it's no news that you grab the eyes of many men, but the problem begins when they catch yours." The possessiveness and hunger in his eyes made my stomach flip. It both excited and scared me. "You should only have your eyes on me. You're mine."

It took me half a minute to find my voice. "So this is it. You still think I like Ranjan," I stated.

He scowled like a petulant child. "Don't tell me you weren't considering him before we got back together."

"I wasn't. How many times have I told you Ranjan is my senior? I never thought of him that way. When will you get it out of your head?"

"When you stop being so cozy with him." The accusation in his eyes dimmed and he huffed, still acting like a child. "Well, don't hangout with him too much. I don't like it."

This guy!

I pushed him away as he leaned down to kiss. "So you dragged me here to tell me that I should avoid my co-worker." It was my turn to get mad. "You know what? Since we're doing this, I want you to fire Mona. And don't tell me you're stupid enough to not know she likes you. I don't like her hanging out with you either."

At least, he had the shame to look a little guilty. "She has a two year contract with the company. I'll have to compensate her-"

"Idiot!" Annoyed, I pushed him off of me completely and moved to the dressing mirror. I was so done with this.

As expected my neck was littered with marks that I had received just moments ago. I wondered if being angry and aroused went hand in hand with him.

I felt his gaze as I fixed my dress' collar to hide my neck. "Why didn't you tell me you'd be coming here?" I asked.

"The invitation was last minute, Mr. Kazmi asked me to join him this evening. Then I thought it'd be fun to surprise you," Antarang answered, taking the cue that I didn't want to continue our previous conversation.

"Well, it was a nice surprise," I said and looked at him through the mirror, "until you opened your mouth." I heard him sigh.

After fixing my hair, I headed for the door but Antarang stopped me. "I have this room booked for the whole night. We can stay here for a little while," he said, suggestively.

Now that I looked around, I realized the room must've cost him a fortune. Not only was the hotel in the posh area of the city, but the room didn't look anything less than luxurious: spacious with expensive vintage furniture, chandelier hanging down the ceiling and the large window with the view of city. It was insane he booked it just to pick a quarrel with me.

"I didn't get a chance to tell you but you look beautiful." Antarang moved to stand behind me. "I am not ashamed to admit that it makes me jealous seeing someone else have your attention when you look so...-" his hand settled on my waist and I felt his breath on my cheek, "-so delectable tonight. I want you all to myself."

It was so easy to fall for his sweet talk, very easy, but somehow I persisted. I was still mad, or rather trying to be.

"We're at a office party. Aadeel sir must be wondering where you've disappeared, and same for my friends," I reminded him, unlatching him from me. "You shouldn't have been so hasty in spending all this money for such an expensive room."

With that I walked out of there, leaving disappointed Antarang behind. It felt so satisfying to get back at him.

On my way back I found Ranjan standing where previously Antarang had been.

"Kashvi, where were you?" Ranjan asked as soon as he saw me. His flushed face let me know he was under the influence of alcohol.

"I got lost," I lied. "Let's go back. Mrinalini must be waiting." I tried to usher him back. Antarang wasn't far behind and I didn't want him to see us like this. Even though Antarang's claim was preposterous, it'd be wise to not add fuel to the fire.

"Before we go I have to tell you something." Ranjan stepped closer. Before I could step back, he grabbed my hand. "I like you Kashvi."

Before I could react, I heard footsteps behind me. Oh no!
