Germania X Roman Empire

A/N: This was requsted by Hannah Tennyson. I hope you like it ^-^ Human Au. They live in a highly populated city (like New York or some place like that). Germania: Luther, Roman Empire: Romulus

Today had not been a good day for Romulus. He got up late, dropped hot coffee on his pants, had to change which made his more late, and almost got hit by a car while entering the building. His day had dragged on torturously long and he became more gloomy as when, it was time to leave work, it started pouring.

He knew he couldn't do anything about it, so he just went to the first floor and walked outside, a small canopy protecting him from being pelted by the cold drops of rain. He took a deep breath and was about to walk, when a hand landed on his shoulder and an umbrella was placed over his head. He turned his head to see his handsome coworker, Luther.

"Oh, thank you but you don't have to." Romulus gave him a shy smile. "It's okay, I insist. You need it more than I do." Romulus realized he was right when he remembered Luther's apartment was just a block down from the office and his own has several streets down.

He looked Luther in his stoic but lovely, blue eyes and took the umbrella, their hands gently brushing together. A light blush dusted Romulus' cheeks and he stuttered out a thank you and quickly started to make his was home.

A ghost of a smile graced Luther's face and he walked to his own home, thinking about how cute his coworker was. "One day, I'll work up the courage to ask him out on a date".
