XXVIII. Community Strikes

You know what?

I'd understand getting reported if it was due to breaking the community guidelines (e.g. swearing, bullying, inappropriate content). However, it shouldn't be done against someone who neither did those things.
There are some good authors on this platform who had their books suddenly removed — including drafts. If this wasn't the case, it's the person themselves who risk getting "deplatformed."
Now ... Don't take this the wrong way because I wanna advise you that 'false-reporting' can get you kicked out of Wattpad (check your e-mails and you will be asked to provide a few evidence for them to review). If you don't like what you're seeing — may it be someone's harmless post or books — it's best to ignore and move on.

"B-B-But Haru! A lot of people on Wattpad are impressionable teens who may not understand what you share publicly. Also, weren't you that crusty writer? OH GOD GET OFF MY INTERNET!"

Then you're not the author's intended demographic. Even as a teen, I know right away to avoid stuff that bothers me. I never went out of my way to witch hunt and report someone because I disagreed with them.
Of course, I am very careful with everything I share online. I won't be writing anything that my guts warned me not to.
To anyone who is worried about their works getting deleted, I suggest you publish the unedited versions on a different website or save it on your personal device. Try using euphemisms to replace certain words.
