Ch. 13

**Clay**

"Has anybody heard from Jax lately?" I ask after we finish the meeting "yah the old lady was discharged last night so he taking her to Brians then coming back for a few days then heading back up to Miami" Bobby says straighten his cut "ok" i say as we leave the room

"Clay!" Gemma yells from the office

I walk into the office to see Gemma behind the desk

"What" i say "hear anything from Jax?" She asks "ya Bri was released last night" i say leaning in the door way "ok thanks see you at home" she says going back to what she was doing.

**Jax**

I pull up to a dock

"This is where he lives?" I ask looking around

"Alright... alright place your bets!" I hear a voice yell from near the water

We walk around looking for Brian, Abel was walking by Bri but people kept stopping us to hug and awe at Abel i could tell Bri was uncomfortable with it

We see a guy with an afro so we decided to ask him if he knew where Brian was

"Yo dude!" Bri says loudly causing him to turn to us

"Yo whats up" he says "hey uhm do you know where Brian o'Connor is?" Bri asks

"Yah he should be back soon" he says "thanks...?" I say questionally "Tej and you are?" Tej asks "Brianna Toretto" Bri says "Jax Teller" i say shaking his hand "and who's this little man?" Tej ask crouching to Abels level "our son Abel" i say getting frustrated

"Ok i get... i get it why dont you go chill with Suki till he gets back" he says pointing to a girl with light brown kinda blonde haired girl who was sitting under a roofed area drawing "thanks" Bri says picking Abel up

**Brian**

I pull up to the dock Roman close behind

"Yo Brian im gonna crash ill see you in tha' morning" Roman says walking the opposite way "kay" i say walking over to Tej

"Yo Tej whats happening?" I ask "not much but you have visiters uhm... Jax Teller and Brianna Toretto" he says "ok where they at?" I ask "last i seen them with was Suki" he says pointing to the garage

I walk into the garage to see Abel playing with his Charger "hey buddy wheres mommy?" I ask bending and ruffling his hair, he points near the back "c'mon lets go find her" i say picking him up

"Bri where'd Jax go?" I ask walking up to her "he had to back to Charming for a week" she says

Sit Abel on my lap and play with him

He throws his car "whoa Abel cars dont fly" i say handing him to Brianna then sprinting over to pick up the car

I walk to find Tej with Bri and Abel closely behind "yo Tej they need a place to crash for a couple months till heat dyes down where their from" i say "man Brian jeez they can take mine i guess ill bunk with Suki" he says "you love the idea" i say laughing

**Brianna**

I lay on the bed with Abel laying beside me sleeping, I stare at the lower decks ceiling listening to the water crash against the boat,I gentley start falling asleep to the soothing sound.

I wake up to Brian shaking me awake "hey let's go get breakfast" he says picking up a sleeping Abel "OK" I say sitting up still wearing yesterdays clothes, I walk into the bathroom and brush my teeth

I walk out to see Brian dressing Abel who was now awake "momma" Abel says smiling as I walk in the room "hi handsome boy" I say as Brian slips Abel's sweater on "Bri hand me his shoes" Brian says, I grab his runners and and them to Brian.

We pull up to a little café near the dock it was cute.

We walk in and go straight to the back of the room

"Hello my name is Sadie, what do you want to drink?" She asks smiling a genuine smile "I'll get a coffee" Brian says as she hands us two menus and a kids menu "ill green tea" I say "and an apple juice" I say placing Abel in the high chair "OK I'll be right back with those as you look at the menu" she says before walking away

She comes back with our drinks on a tray 'OK so what will it be?" She asks "I'll have your breakfast special" Brian says "ok so white or whole wheat?" She asks "white" he says "OK what about you Ms.?" She asks me "Greek omlet and honey nut Cheerios no milk" I say "ok" she says walking away

"So Bri where have you been the last year?" Brian asks taking a sip of his coffee "um a little town called Charming" I say looking out the window watching now the raindrops roll down the window "why there out of all the places in California why Charming?" He asks looking at me cup still in hand "I don't know after meeting Jax I felt safe there like I am with you or Dom or V or Leon" I say looking at my cup

"Here is your omlet, your special and here is your cheerios" she says handing us our food

After we eat we head back to the docks cause Brian has to go to work.

"Yp Brian where'd you go man we have to go" I hear a voice come from behind me "k Bri I have to go I'll see you later" Brian says before kissing me on the cheek.

"Really Brian first the agent now her and who is she?" The guy says

"shut up Rome this is a friend from LA she needs a place to stay" he says

"hm must be some friend" he says looking at Abel "nah man she's engaged and it's the guys kid" he says "listen I'll explain it to you later carters gonna kill us we're already late" he says walking back to his car "ya better" he says following Brian

I walk over to the edge of the dock and watch the people race on the jet ski's "yo how you know Brian?" Tej asks "I met him back in LA he use to ride for my brother Dom" I say "your Bri Brian freaked when he found out you were shot, when you were kidnapped" Tej says pulling me into a side hug, I smile at him and watch Abel throw pebbles into the water

We sit at the edge of the top of the boat watching everything the cars in the distant, the people racing in the water and everything else.

I see a familiar car pull up

I watch as the person gets out of the car "oh my god"I say covering my mouth "NIKKI!" I yell picking up Abel and sprinting over to her.

Nikki was one of my best friends from high school and we raced together alot, she was also Leon's sister.

"BRIANNA!" She yells running up to me and hugging me make sure not to hurt Abel...
