It's been three days since Atsumu went to hospital.
It was my turn to watch Atsumu again.
The way we arranged it, every second night I would stay in Atsumu and Akagi's room while Akagi stayed in Motoya and I's room.
So we essentially just swapped rooms.
The first night I watched him, he slept peacefully without waking up.
But tonight he couldn't sleep.
He said that his head was too sore.
I gave him a pain killer since the doctor had told us that it was fine.
It made him drowsy but he kept tossing and turning.
The swelling on his head had gone down quite a bit in the last three days, but the bruising was still very purple.
He was lying awake on his bed while I sat up reading a book on Akagi's bed.
It was around eleven o'clock, I was reading with my phone torch on.
Other than that and the feint moonlight shining through the open window, the room was completely dark.
The sky was clear and a light breeze flowed in through the window.
I could hear the feint sound of crickets just outside the building.
"Omi..."
"Yeah?"
"My head hurts..."
I sighed and got up from Akagi's bed and sat down next to Atsumu.
He was curled up in his blanket like a burrito.
"I know your head hurts, Atsu, but I already gave you some meds..."
He poked his head out from the blanket and glared at me weakly.
I sighed as I ruffled my hand through his hair.
His expression softened as he pulled off the blankets and moved closer to me.
Without a word, he curled up next to me and I put an arm around him.
I pulled him close to me.
He laid his head on my chest as I leaned back against the wall.
"Omi?"
"Mm...?
"Can ya rub my head again? It feels good..."
I felt my face heat up.
Thank goodness we were sitting in a dark room.
I don't think I'd ever let myself live it down if he saw my blush.
Though I complied and ran my fingers through his hair.
He hummed quietly in appreciation.
We sat like that in silence for a while until I felt his breathing even out and I heard his soft snoring.
I chuckled lightly as I continued to play with his hair.
His hair was so soft and fluffy, I honestly don't know how he keeps it that way when he bleaches it all the time.
