When Louis was going to put on his headphones, he overheard Niall say, "You know your soulmate has received their power today. "What exactly are you talking about?" Harry said, looking puzzled. "Your parents failed to tell you that your soulmate receives their power at the same time as you, regardless of whether or not it is their birthday," Niall said. "I mean, when I was younger, but I believed it was a lie," Harry admitted to Niall. "No, it's true," Niall confirmed. "So my soulmate gained their power at the same exact time today," Harry said again. "Yes," said Niall. Niall tapped Louis to ask him a question before Harry could process it or say anything. "Yes," Louis replied as he turned to face him. "Have you received your power yet?" Niall said, his gaze falling on him. Harry pulled up to his house quickly, as Niall asked, shut off the car, and stared at Louis, waiting for an answer. "No," Louis replied, lying. "My birthday is in two days so I won't know till then." He glanced at Niall and then at Harry, who appeared to be sad for some reason, but he ignored it, reasoning that why would Harry be sad that he and I aren't soulmates if he's straight? Why would Niall ask that? He doesn't believe Harry and I are soulmates, right? Louis wondered. "Oh, right," Niall acknowledged. "Your birthday is on Monday." "Yeah," Louis said, realizing that Zayn had contacted him and asked him to call him. Niall smiled and said, "Well, happy early birthday." "Thanks," Louis replied, messaging Zayn and preparing to contact him. Louis stated, "Umm, my friend wants me to call him." "All right," Harry responded, speaking for the first time since his conversation with Niall. "Well, be in the house, come in after you're done."
