You slowly stepped onto the tree trunk, balancing onto it when Jack flew over to you

"You're being stupid right now, you can get hurt, why not just stop and we can go back to your place and just hang out together?" Jack insisted, trying to change your mind

You just ignored him while you took another step out onto the tree trunk, you held your arms out like an airplane to help balance, as if you were walking on a tight rope

"Don't ignore me, you're being stubborn!"

"Just shut it" you whispered although he probably didn't hear it due to the loud noise of the rapid streaming water hitting everything as it flows by

He landed right behind you, perfectly balanced when he wrapped his arms around your waist making you stop in surprise and a minor bit of a blush

"If you want to be dumb, fine.. But if something happens, I'm right here behind you.." he whispered into your ear making you flustered

"Quit acting like prince charming and stay quiet so I can focus" you spoke over your shoulder

"You know that we can hear you, right?" Elisa said, still standing there waiting

"I don't think that she should be doing thi-" Noah started when Daniel shushed him

"Don't be another wimp on this trip" Daniel commented making Noah go silent

You took a few more steps out when Jack kept gripping onto your side, more and more tighter than before

"Let go" you whisper-shouted over your shoulder

"No" he stated, not budging an inch

"You doing this is keeping me back"

"Well good, at least one of us here has common sense!" He exclaimed

"Quit being such a prick!" You shouted when you turned and pushed him back

"Uh, what is she doing?" Rose asked watching the scene

"Acting?" Zaiden guessed questionably

"Yep, I knew this girl was psycho" Elisa spoke up, rolling her eyes

"Prick?! I'm trying to help you!" Jack finally shouted back

"Then don't help!"

"As if I'm going to let you cross this thing with no one here willing to even care"

"Sometimes you have to prove yourself that you can do things on your own before you're respected" you stated

"Obviously these people are the wrong ones for you! They are putting you in danger, making fun of you, insulting you and who knows what else!" He exclaimed

"Then let them! At the end of it all, I will show my place!" You shouted when he walked up to you, placing both his hands onto your shoulder

"I don't want to see you getting hurt.." he spoke softly

"Wow, she's a good actor" Rose whispered aloud while the group just silently stared at her

"I don't see why you care, I'm just a stranger!"

"That doesn't mean that I can't worry about someone's safety!"

"Just back off!" You shouted, shoving him once more when he grabbed your arm, making you unbalanced, causing you to slip onto the tree trunk, also making him let go, landing onto the snow back where the rest were

"(Y/n)!" Jack and Noah shouted in unison while everyone else gasped

You sat up, grabbing onto the sides of the tree trunk, you steadily got onto your knees before trying to stand

"(Y/n), I-"

"Just shut up, Jack" you said between gritted teeth as you slowly got to your feet

"Jack? As in Jackson?" Zaiden asked aloud when everyone looked over at him, including Jack himself

"W-wait.. they know me too?" He asked immediately getting to his feet as well while you just ignored his question, focusing on your balance once more

"That's the only Jack that we know" Elisa commented

"So is this still acting or..?" Daniel asked now confused

"I.. I can't believe this.." Jack said aloud to himself

Once you got to your feet, you slowly stood up

"Hey psycho, why are you mentioning Jack? Are you crazy?!" Elisa exclaimed cupping her hands

"Now is not the time for this!" You shouted at her

"Then quit acting so weird and putting on this show and hurry up so we can cross!" She shouted back when Jack just looked over at her

"If you want to cross so badly then how about you take my place, if not, then just shut up!"

"Who are you talking to?!"

"I'm talking to you!"

"You little-" Elisa hissed when she made her way to the tree trunk as she started walking on it, making her way towards you when Zaiden and Rose immediately ran to grab her

"Quit it!" Zaiden shouted as he and Rose pulled her off the tree trunk

"That Bitch just insulted me!" Elisa snapped trying to get loose

"Can we just stop all of this?" Rose asked trying to calm everyone down when Elisa grabbed a rock from the edge of the tree trunk as she threw it at you, causing you to duck

"(Y/n)!" Noah shouted, seeing the scene

When you ducked, you avoided the rock, but only to end up resulting in you to lose your balance again, slipping once more, but this time, off the tree trunk and into the icy water, scraping your arms against the trunk as specks of blood came trickling down just to be washed away over and over again by the cold water, causing it to burn and turn red

"(Y/n)!" Jack and Noah shouted in unison once more once seeing what happened as Noah ran out onto the tree trunk

You grabbed the thick dead branch, keeping you from going underwater and drifting away due to the fast current only to cause your hand to slowly slip off as you repeatedly tried to grip it tighter and tighter

"Zaiden! Do something!" Daniel exclaimed, now in fear

"I can't! Can't you see that me and Rose are trying to handle this crazy woman!" Zaiden yelled holding Elisa back while Rose is standing in front of Elisa blocking her from you

Due to the fall, you tried climbing back onto the tree trunk only causing you to lose your grip even more until eventually, your hand slipped off the branch you were holding onto
