This chapter will be what Tenten dreamed of in the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
I see the gates of Konoha "I am finally home after this long mission" I think to myself
I make my way over to the Hokage's Office to go give my report on what happened during the mission. I feel tired, this mission was 4 days long and all I wanted was to take a nice hot shower and sleep.
"Lady Tsunade the mission was a success" I said as I walked in to her office
"Great, I'm glad this was a hard mission but I am glad Team Tenten was able to do it" she said
I finished giving her my report and I left to go home. I get my keys to open my door and I smell something delicious.
"Ah Tenten you are finally home. How was the mission? Are you hungry? I'll make your favorite right now. Do you want chilled chinese noodles or meat buns?" My mom asked as she ran towards the door to hug me and say hi
"Sorry I didn't come home early the mission went on longer than we thought but yes please some food would be nice especially some chilled chinese noodles" I said as I took off my shoes
"It's fine Ten, you just had me a bit worried" she hugged me
"I'm sorry mom but I'm now back home safe and you know me I am a strong kunoichi who is doing her job protecting Konoha as a ninja" I said while hugging her
"I know I know Tenten I was once a kunoichi too. I miss those days, working, missions and even leading a team of genin. That was a the best part" She smiled
"When you were young and-" I got interrupted
"Single" my mom said
"So it's fine, you became a mother and you were still an active kunoichi for a while. After I turned 6 you went back on missions and once I turned 14 you left" I said
"I've always wanted to go back. Maybe I could now that I am thinking about it but anyways Tenten go shower and relax. Once you are done your chilled chinese noodles will be waiting for you" she said pushing me to my room
"Okay mom I will because I am tired and dirty" I said
"I'll start cooking so don't worry" she said as she ran off to the kitchen
I take off my uniform and hop in the shower. The hot water hitting my back feels great. I feel my hair getting wet, the dirt coming out from my hair and body. I let the water hit my body for a bit longer until I grab my shampoo to start washing my hair.
I feel relaxed already, this is helping. I have been so stressed from all these missions I've been on. There's too much work, I don't have enough free time to relax so I enjoy these moments I have alone.
I do the rest of my routine and I hop off the shower. I sit on my bed for a while thinking. I get off and do my skincare. I grab some sweatpants and a tank top. I blow dry my hair and throw on a hoodie that matches my sweatpants. I throw on fluffy socks and I'm all ready to go.
"Is the good ready?" I asked
"Yes it's ready" my mom screamed
I hear another voice from the kitchen
"Neji? What are you doing here?" I asked shocked
"Well I wanted to stop by and see you" he said while taking a bite from the noodles
"You're already eating without me, wow" I said
"Sorry but your mom always make these and they are so good. I enjoy them way too much plus you were taking a shower and I didn't want to interrupt" He responded
"Well I'm glad the food is ready I'm starving" I said touching my stomach
"Here's your plate" my mom said as she handed me a big plate of delicious noddles
"Thank you" I said while taking a big bite
"It smells good in here" my father said as he walked in
"Mom made chilled chinese noodles" I said while I jumped out my chair to hug him
"Aw, Tenten you are back" he said happily
"Yes dad, how was work at the academy?" I asked
"It was the same thing, you know a lot of those kids are going to be good ninjas and kunoichi's. We are planning on having some chunin and jonin lead a 3 man squad" he said
"Well count us in" I said pointing towards Neji
"Oh hey Neji I didn't see you there" he said
"Hello sir, sorry I was enjoying the noddles your wife made which by the way are the best ever" He said smiling with an empty plate
"I'm glad you like them. Yes that's a good idea i think it might be your class year who is doing this activity" he said
"I'll be happy to help them out" I said walking back to the kitchen
I had my noddles and some sesame seed dango that Neji brought
"You know how I told you all that I wanted to have a weapons shop here in Konoha well I talked to Lady Tsunade about it and she actually liked the idea" I said
"Are you actually doing it?" Neji asked
"Yes because Lady Tsunade is helping me with this. She said it was a great idea and that she will be supporting me" I said proudly
"That is great" my mom said happily hugging me
"I know mom, now I just have to find a place where the shop would be placed at but I'm really happy that Lady Tsunade is supporting me and also Sakura and Temari. I haven't told Hinata and Ino yet but I know they will be supporting me" I said
"So will your dad and I" my mom said
"I'll add myself in because Tenten you know I'll always be supporting you and Lee and Guy Sensei" Neji said
"Thank you all" I said as I hugged both of my parents
We ate and talked. Then we watched a movie with my parents as I made some caramel popcorn for the movie.
I hear a knock on the door and I go open it
"Tenten Lady Tsunade has found a place for your store" Lee said
"Oh okay, I'm going let me out on my shoes" I said
"I'll go with you" Neji said hurrying to get his shoes on
We hurried to the location it was in the center of the village.
"Tenten I think this place is perfect for you" Lady Tsunade said
"Yes I like this place thank you!" I said as I hugged her
"You're welcome. It's set you have your own weapons shop" she said smiling
"AAHHH I HAVE MY OWN WEAPONS SHOP CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!" I screamed to Lee and Neji
"We will be supporting this youthful place and helping you out" Lee said smiling at me with a thumbs up
"Yes we will LEE AND NEJI" screamed Guy Sensei
I smiled happily
My own weapons shop, my own,
I'm a successful kunoichi
Owner of a store
~ End of dream ~
I felt the wrapping around my body undo, I was back to reality. I felt pain all over my body. Someone has undone the genjutsu. Does this mean we have won the battle I thought to myself. Hopefully they did.
I hear a voice calling out my name, it's Neji. I'm too weak to get up or say anything. I see him coming towards me, he finally found me.
This battle is over
