Chapter 23: It's war time...

~ Neji ~
"It's time to get going" I said as we grabbed our bags

"I wish you all good luck and safety" Hanabi said as she looked at us. She was too young to fight so she was going to be taken somewhere else for safety

"Thank you Hanabi" Lady Hinata said

"Take care father" Hanabi said as she hugged him

"I will, now don't worry about us" he smiled softly as he hugged her back

"Please Tenten, Neji and Naruto stay safe I want you all to comeback safe" she said

"We will" Tenten said reassuring her as both of us smiled

We left to go to the gates, there we saw Kiba's family, Ino's family, Sasuke all by himself without his family who had been murdered years ago, he one of the few survivors then Sakura showed up with Lady Tsunade and Master Jiraya. Kakashi, Guy, Lee, Sai, Yamato showed up. The head of the main clans along with their families who were shinobi who were fighting in this war were leaving with Lady Tsunade. To get info and how every clan will be working

"Everyone let's go, we will need those Byakugan eyes for traveling at night" Lady Tsunade said

"Got it" all of us said

We left ahead to make sure there's no one trying to do anything to the Hokage, Hiashi was left to be with Lady Tsunade

"Are you all ready?" Hinata asked to me, Tenten, Kiba, Shino and Shikamaru

"Ready like always" we all replied

We kept traveling for 5 hours straight. We started setting camp up, Lady Tsunade and the other leaders of the clans sleep in a wooden house Yamato made. All of us the Konoha 12 set camp along with the Sensei's. I kept watch while Tenten set up our tent. She had fun doing it, while me and Hinata kept watch incase

"Our tent is done, let me just summon a sleeping bag and pillows and we'll be good to go" she said

"Okay I'll be down in a minute" I said as I made the sign to switch places "this is nice, thank you Tenten. We should we go to sleep" I said as I changed into sweatpants. We were in the back and everyone else was already passed out

"Yeah, get in" she said as she got in the sleeping bag it was a couples sleeping bag.

"This is cozy" I replied as I got in. I noticed she had fallen asleep already

"Good night" I whispered as I got comfortable too and quickly fell asleep

~ 5am ~ Tenten ~
I woke up to Guy Sensei telling everyone to wake up. "COME ON EVERYONE MY YOUTHS ITS TIME TO WAKE UP" he screamed

"YES GUY SENSEI I AM FULL OF ENERGY READY TO FIGHT" Lee screamed

"Nejiii, Nejiiiii time to wake upppp" I said

"Ah Tenten let me sleep 5 more minutes I wanna cuddle with you" he said

"Nejiiiii wake UP" it's time to leave" I said

"Okay okay got it" he replied as he stood up

"Let's get going" Master Jiraya said as he had one of his toads carry Lady Tsunade she was still sleeping and he didn't want to wake her up

We started traveling. An hour later Lady Tsunade woke up. We kept traveling for hours until we took another break. Me and Tenten sat down with Naruto and Hinata while we ate. There was a river and we decided to wash our faces afterwards we kept traveling.

In total it was 5 days of traveling.

"Oh god we are finally here" Lady Tsunade said

"Hello welcome to Kumogakure Lady Tsunade, we are waiting for Sunagakure to show up please allow us to take you to a room to relax and bring you all food. We also have a place for all of you to stay until the rest of the village's shinobi get here" one of A's assistants said

"Thank yes please the rest of our shinobi will be here soon. Tell A to let me know when the meeting starts" she responded

"Yes ma'am" she responded

We were taken to tents and give out new headband. We were offered food and food pills to keep up. Tomorrow the war would start. We talked to other shinobi we had met before and had another meeting with Lady Tsunade for the last time. It was time to sleep

"This is our last night being together" I said as I hugged Tenten

"I know, I'm going to miss you please be safe. I don't want you to leave me alone in this world. Just know I will stay safe too, don't worry about me" she replied

"It's going to be hard not worrying about you. Come on let's go to sleep, kiss me" I said

She started to kiss me passionately, hugging me touching me. As we cuddled, she kept kissing me and fell in asleep in my arms.

Next thing it was morning, we were woken up by Naruto. As I woke up with Tenten in my arms I knew it was time. We were getting ready to go to war
