Chapter 14: Tonkotsu Miso Ramen

~ Tenten ~
We are finally done. It has been a lot of hard work. I was completely tired and done.

"Do you want to go get ramen?" Asked Gaara as we were walking

"Sure" i said i mean i really couldn't say no to the Kazekage plus Gaara had been one of my friends for a long time

We walked and had small talk. Once we arrived, we didn't know what to order

"What do you usually get?" Asked Gaara as he looked at the menu

"It honestly depends on how I'm feeling, i usually get the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen with extra Naruto cakes " i said

"Okay I'll have that too, please two orders of the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen with extra Naruto's" Gaara said

"So how have you been?" He asked as he took off his gourd

"I've been doing fine just going on a lot of missions and training. And you?? I still can't believe you're the Kazekage at such a young age" i replied

"That's good, yeah once I turned 15 I was the Kazekage but you became a jonin at 15 along with Neji and Lee" he said

(Okay I know I know she was never a jonin but I wanted to make her one, she's a bad ass female character back to the story)

"That's true I'm very proud of myself for becoming such a great kunoichi just like my mother" i said with a smile

"That's wonderful, your mother must have been a wonderful person and very beautiful just like you" Gaara said as he made eye contact with me

I freaked out for a minute trying to realize what had happened

"Here's the food" said Teuchi

"Thank you" we both replied as we started to eat. Thankfully that made the situation less awkward

~ Neji ~
I'm walking past Ichiraku when I hear a familiar voice. It was her, it was Tenten's voice but with another person.

I activated my byakugan. It was of course Mr.Kazekage with Tenten. Did he like her? Of course he did like her i mean who wouldn't like her she's amazing.

I stayed there listening quietly.

"That's wonderful, your mother must have been a wonderful person and very beautiful just like you"

Gaara called her BEAU- BEAUTIFUL

I wanted to pass out but why did I feel this way. Why? Was i jealous? Yes I was. I was raging in anger

~ Tenten ~
I get this vibe that he likes me especially by the comments he is making. He probably does. We finish eating but we just stay there and talk

"Tenten one of these you should come to the village I'll show you around. It's a nice little village with a lot of food and shops. I know you like sweets and there's a really good place in the village" he said smiling

"Sure once the war is over I'll go" i replied

"Do you want to go home?" He asked

"Yeah, I'm super drained but this food made me feel better" i said looking at my empty bowl

"Oh okay let's get going i'll walk you home. Here's for the ramen" he said as he left the money on the table

"Oh here's mine" i said as i grabbed the money from my pocket

"No Tenten I'm paying for both of us. It's my treat" he said

"But you're the Kazekage i feel bad" I said getting embarrassed

"It's fine come on let's get going" he said

"Oh okay thank you Gaara" i said as i smiled. I felt weird being with him but it wasn't uncomfortable

As we walked home, he kept looking at me trying to not make it obvious

"Well we are here" i said

"Your house looks cozy, i like the flowers. I'll bring you a cacti to add for your collection" he said shyly. No one really knew that Gaara liked to do gardening

"Sure I'll love that, well thank you for the food and it was a great day working" i said trying to say my goodbyes

"Your welcome, you see later" he said

I don't know why but he hugged me, and I hugged him back. Afterwards he left awkwardly. I was in shock i didn't know why my body just reacted like that

I open the door and walk in my house

It was dark i couldn't see anything all i heard was "So do you like him?" asked a familiar voice.
