"So who is the person you're close with?"
"I wouldn't stop hearing it if you knew." You sighed while sitting in a chair. "What time is it anyways?"
"Almost 6, I have a double shift sadly."
"Oh-" You said getting cutoff.
"Y/n!" Kie said running up with everyone else.
"Hey!" You smiled at them.
"How is he?" JohnB asked.
"Good...hopefully still asleep." You sighed.
"I told you!" JohnB smiled. "Now come on!" He said eager to see him.
You smiled then walked to JJ's room and of course your sister followed you guys.
"Hey man!" JohnB said seeing JJ awake.
"Thank god!" Kie said running to him to hug him.
"You scared us all!" Pope sighed.
Your sister grabbed you by the hair and pulled you out of the room.
"Why didn't you tell me you knew him!"
"Cause this exact thing would have happened..." You said rubbing your head.
"Are you two dating?"
"Yeah...since freshman year..."
"You should have told me!"
"I know, I'm sorry..."
"It's fine." She sighed then pushed you back into the room.
Everyone was looking at JJ's stitches when you and Ivy walked in.
"They also have no brain cells..." You sighed while looking at her.
"Yeah we do!" Kie said.
"Really." You raised an eyebrow.
"Ok, we have very little."
"That's what I thought." You laughed while walking over to them.
"Ivy..." A nurse said walking in to get her then walked out with her.
"Do you know when you can go home?" Pope asked.
"Nah..." JJ sighed. "I hope soon though..."
"Hope so...ok well we better get to school cause it definitely isn't a teacher work day." Kie laughed.
"Ok." You giggled while they ran out.
You sat back down in the chair next to JJ and looked at him while he looked back at you.
"I told you I would." He smiled.
"Told me you would what?" You asked confused.
"You don't remember do you?" He smiled.
"Nope..."
"When we first started dating about maybe a year in I think, we were laying in the hammock at JohnB's looking at the stars and I told you I would take a bullet for you, and here we are." He smiled.
You felt tears build up in your eyes as he said that.
"I love you JJ..." You said crying.
"I love you too." He smiled.
You wiped your tears that fell then looked back at JJ smiling.
"I'll be right back, I'm gonna call my mom to tell her you're ok." You smiled while getting up.
