this is a mafia book but is nothing close to true reality
real mafias are no joke and are not at all like any books, this is just my 'lighthearted' take on it
my book doesn't heavily rely on the mafia, it is a big part of the plot but it's more focused on Valentina and Matteo

there won't be any warning before these topics are mentioned since they are in almost every chapter, so make sure to expect them coming up.
if any of these trigger you please don't read further and take care of yourselves. your wellbeing is much more important than a story so please keep that in mind, i won't be offended if you decide it's best not to read at any point.
you are worth it and there is always someone out there who cares about you and your wellbeing, even if you haven't quite met them yet, you never know when you will.

-sorry to interrupt the start of my book but I feel the need to address Valentina's spirituality before we start, in order to adjust people's expectations. I noticed there was some upset about her using crystals and being connected with her spirituality- and while it is unconventional to many, she has suffered a lot of trauma and I believe that it is a valid and healthy way for her to ground herself. I would also like to remind everyone that my page is not a space for hate and that keeping an open mind is beautiful thing. At the end of the day, this is just a book and nothing within it is true reality. So why would it matter that Valentina believed so deeply in spirituality?
Just please remember to be respectful of all beliefs and be kind to others and please don't hesitate report any hate that does arise.
