Julian Van Hugh always thought that being safe was the most desirable to anyone with a brain, always eating right, doing his homework the second he gets it, walking slowly and carefully, always wearing correct clothing and studying when possible.
So when his parents told him they were moving, he was shocked but he handled it pretty well to say the least. As he settles in his new house halfway across the globe, he notices a small house down the street, he also notices the guy staring at him from his window. So to play it safe like always, he closed and locked his window and drawing the curtains closed. Effectively closing any sight of himself from the outside world, and the stranger.
Julian is the smart, care-about-everybody-else-first kind've guy. He studies 24/7 and is known as a prude and quiet nerd at his old school.
And then comes the time when the change happens, with his parents becoming more and more odd, he makes new friends. Oscar, Sherry, Kaylah, Tyler, Brenda, Brent and Jack. But nothing is as it seems, what's really happening in this small town? Why is he feeling weird?
