Ch 26

hours later

McKeyla walks into the conference room where tony Natasha and Hope were

McKeyla: "I found out some information"

Tony: "what is it little van dyne?"

McKeyla: "one don't call me that and two, I was reviewing all the areas where phantom broke into. Thees a pattern, so if we follow the pattern that leads us here,  a small island outside of Puerto Rico"

Nat: "you think they will be there?"

McKeyla: "I'm positive. phantom or whatever we are calling them is following a pattern. so, I'm 100% positive they will be there"

Nat: "alright"

Tony: "van dyne, maximoff you're going with ghost"

McKeyla rolls her eyes

Hope: "I'm fine with that. Let's suit up and head out"

Hours later once they arrived at the place

McKeyla: "i'll scout the area, you both don't move"

McKeyla phases through a wall and disappeared

Hope and McKeyla wait there for a couple of minutes. All of a sudden a monitor in the quinjet starts beeping

Wanda: "what is it?"

Hope walks over to the monitor

Hope: "the scanners are  picking up an unusual energy force from inside the building"

Wanda: "we should go, we don't know how long until McKeyla gets back"

Hope: "I don't know Wanda"

Wanda: "what if she's in trouble, we won't know because she won't come back to us"

hope sighs

hope: "fine let's go"

They make their way into the building. inside the building was dimly light with many hallways and doorways

Wanda: "which way?"

Hope: "over there maybe"

They continue to walk until hope stops walking

Wanda: "what?"

Hope: "the energy force, it's supposed to be here... I don't get it. It's supposed to be gold"

Wanda: "but there isn't anything in here"

hope: "that's what doesn't make sense, I have no idea what to do..."

Wanda: "we should get out of here, I'm picking up a bad feeling"

hope: "I know we should but none of this makes sense. the monitor says the energy force is supposed to be here but nothing is"

All of a sudden wanda and hope hear a voice, a whisper

??: "are you sure about that avengers?"

McKeyla appears behind them

Hope: "m we need to get out of here"

McKeyla: "why?"

Wanda: "i don't think it's safe in here"

McKeyla: "aw, but the fun hasn't even started"

Hope and Wanda: "what?"

Wanda: "what are you talking about?"

McKeyla: "sweet dreams Wanda and Hope"

Hope and Wanda get knocked out

McKeyla: sorry sister but this had to be done... actually why am I sorry, she deserves this, she deserves all of what's coming for her"

Latter Wanda and Hope wake up

Wanda: "what the hell?"

she sits up and rubs the back of her head

Hope: "what happened?"

They look up and see McKeyla standing in front of them

McKeyla: "well well well look like they both decided to wake"

Wanda: "McKeyla what are you doing?"

McKeyla: "what I've been planning all along"

Hope: "McKeyla don't do this, please"

McKeyla: "why should I, after all you both did to me. You"

She turns to hope

McKeyla: "never cared about me. You were always mean to me treated me like sh*t. And you"

She turns to Wanda

McKeyla: "i finally thought someone actually cared for me, once in my life someone cared about me but no, you were just like my family."

Wanda: "McKeyla we are sorry"

Hope: "we will do whatever to make it up to you, we promise. Just don't join them, don't join phantom!"

McKeyla laughs

McKeyla: "join them"

She laughs again

Phantom walks over to McKeyla. They both look at each other and McKeyla smirks. Wanda and hope look at each other, they were confused about what was going on

McKeyla: "why don't you show them...phantom"

Phantom nods and starts to remove their mask

Wanda and Hope gasp

Hope: "what? How?"

Wanda: "how are there two McKeylas?"

McKeyla: "a couple of years ago I found out I am able to spilt myself, duplicating myself actually. creat an identical cline that I can control"

Hope: "what do you mean?"

McKeyla: "no only when my cells are ripping themselves apart and stitching back up together over and over, they are duplicating. I was able to create another version of myself. When you thought the scientists and doctors at the raft were healing me, they only made me stronger. And while you guys were busy chasing my other self or phantom as you guys started calling them, I was able to gain access to all of your tech, files, etc"

Wanda: "what are you going to do then?"

McKeyla laughs

McKeyla: "you'll just have to wait for that"

McKeyla turns to her other self

McKeyla: "take them to the cell and make sure they won't be able to escape. And Wanda, don't try your magic, it won't work on us"
