I was trying to sleep but too many thoughts were inside my brain. Was Uncle Charlie trying to ruin my police career? Why was Andrew so cold to me? Why was Randy so cute? I sat up in bed, gasping.
"What? I did not just think that Randy was cute!" I shook my head, kind of shocked at myself for thinking that. Well, he was kind of cute. He had great hair which is always a plus but... The doctor at the hospital told me to rest. I should be resting not thinking about my partner!
I laid back down and put my head on my pillow. Closing my eyes, I finally fell asleep.

"Randy?" I called out, searching with my eyes for him. I was in a dark room sitting in a wooden chair. "Randy!" The room was small but had a bright white light in the center, so I couldn't see much.
"Liana!" Randy called back. I tried to get up but a handcuff held me back to the chair.
"Randy! Where are you?"
"I'm over here! I'm dying! Help me!"
"Randy?? I can't! I'm stuck!"
"Please, Liana," He started to groan in pain. "Please...p-please..." I shook my head, anger and frustration boiling inside of me as I tugged against the handcuff around my wrist.
"Stay awake!" I shouted.
"I-I can't..." He mumbled from wherever he was. Darn it! Stay awake Miles! I panted heavily trying to think of what to do.
Suddenly the room changed into the dance studio that I used to go to. I licked my lips, standing in my ballet clothes.
"Liana, welcome back," I looked up to see him.
"You're dead," I snapped, staring at the person who had kidnapped me as a kid. "You'll never ever live again."
"Yes... I will.." He laughed creepily taking a step towards me.
"I will.... in your mind, silly girl."
"NOOOOOOOOOO!"
