Randhir was exasperated at the audacity of Ishika to call him. Also, the disgusting words she described sanyukta with, couldn't make him any less angry.

Sanyukta wasn't much affected by her words, as she went to make some coffee, after the call ended-rather disconnected purposefully by him.

But Ishika wasn't someone to appreciate. Rather there was nothing to appreciate about her. Thanks to her evil ways of making things work according to her comfort.

But discussing her with Randhir would ruin his mood as well as appetite. He wasn't even following his diet, rather he skipped meals at times.

She made two brewing cups of coffee, so as to make it a lighter night.

As she proceeded towards him and sat on the couch, while she placed their coffee on the table beside.

Randhir snapped out of his thoughts as he smelled the freshly brewed coffee.

"Is that coffee?" he asked, while raising his left eyebrow.

"Uhh... Yeah, why? Anything wrong?" she asked him, as she handed him his mug, while she took hers in her hand.

"Yeah, keep it back on the table, NOW," he ordered with his authoritative tone, as he couldn't help but suppress his laugh.

"ahh? Why? What's wrong?" she asked, as she was horrified at his reaction. Is he going through mood swings?

Yeah mood swings. She was the one among them both, who should scientifically get mood swings. But maybe in their case, he was the one filling in the gaps! Ahh!

"You can't intake caffeine, baby! It's not safe for you and our babies." he whispered, as he kissed her cheeks one by one, as he moved closer to her.

"Randhir, how do you know so much about pregnancy?" she asked, as she wondered how Randhir had this piece of information, that even she didn't know about.

"Uhh.. Actually I read about it from 'My Pregnant Lady'." said Randhir, as he flushed profusely with ecstasy. He wasn't going to allow sanyukta to make fun of him.

Kaustuki was about to reach Ishika's apartment, meanwhile called her on her mobile phone.

"Ishika, I need to meet you, I am coming to your apartment now, it's important." she murmured as Ishika was bewildered at the sudden phone call and unimaginable meeting. She was horrified to the extent, that she couldn't reply but mutter an 'Okay'.

Ishika couldn't help but feel guilty about betraying kaustuki. No matter how evil she was, she couldn't forget their childhood friendship, those times when kaustuki helped her, rescued her out of difficulties, would cover up for her during worst times.

Kaustuki was the only one, who chose to stay during Ishika worst times. She was the only one who understood her feelings and emotions.

Ishika wasn't like this during her childhood. Her past aroused the devil inside her. Her childhood hadn't been normal like any other child, instead she had faced more than what most teenagers do now.

It wasn't easy to form this kind of vamp image in front of the world. It was a difficult decision for her to take, sans her devastating past.

And now that she used kaustuki as her horse in snatching randhir, that too in such disgusting way was shameful.

A true friend would never do that.

But how can she forget how much she 'loves' Randhir. And for him, she can and could do anything. Even if it means using Kaustuki as her weapon.

But Kaustuki would never forgive her and.....

She was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard the doorbell going.

Approaching towards the door, she slowly opened it to see Kaustuki standing there, with her small carryover and a handbag.

Does that mean she is here to stay?

"Hey Ishika, will you please allow me to enter, I have a deal for you, lets talk inside,"

Without a single word, they both proceeded towards her room leaving her bags in the living room.

"What do you wanna talk? And what deal?" said Ishika, as she tried pulling in her facade, showcasing fake hatred towards her, as if she didn't care about her.

"I have a proposition to make, and that is about Randhir." said Kaustuki, as she easily recognized Ishika's inner turmoil. Ishika couldn't ever cheat her with her emotions. She knew that Ishika was putting up a fake show of dislike and ignorance. After all, their childhood friendship wasn't only for words.

Ishika was bewildered at her words. Kaustuki wasn't the one who liked Randhir in 'that' way. She remembered their college days, when Kaustuki was dumped under infinite piles of books. She wasn't the one running around men, as such. She was too devoted towards her books and career. Then now, what made her land on her doorstep?

She was pulled out of her thoughts once again, with kaustuki's clicking fingers grabbing her attention.

Let me know how you like it. Suggestions and feedback awaited.

Also, don't hate any character of this story, as they have reasons for the character they play here.

P.S. - 'My Pregnant Lady' is the title of some imaginary book, that has the whole do's and don'ts for pregnant wife's husband, I made it up! ;)

I am writing the next chapter right now, I'll try to post it today.

Stay tuned,
