I walked into the house, curious about the laughs and giggling.
My smile widened seeing my cousin on the sofa.
"Priscy" I yelled
I ran to hug and she laughed.
"Where on earth have you been? We both live in Lagos but you're scarce" I said pulling out of our embrace
"Chukuemeka you need to understand that I've been busy" She said
"Yes yes yes. The celebrity. Wahala for who no busy" I teased
She slapped my arm playfully.
"Son you didn't even acknowledge us? My dad chided
"I'm so sorry. Priscy charmed me" I said after greeting them.
"Me ke? I know I'm hot but no need to flatter me" she said laughing
"PRISCILLA ANJE" A voice screamed

"Chimo. Must you scream?" My Mum said
"Leave my daughter alone. Did Emeka not yell?" Dad sided with Kamsi who was already in the arms of Priscy.
After enough pleasantries, Mum told us why Priscy was here.
"Priscy is transferring to Crownsvielle College and since her house is distant from the school, she is going to be staying here and leaving every weekend"
"For real? Madddd. I can't wait to flaunt my celebrity cousin" Kamsi gushed as Priscy let out a smile
"What department are you dear?" My dad asked Priscy
"Commercial class sir." She replied
"Ss3 right?" Mum asked
"Yes aunt"
"That great. Welcome Priscy, we have a lot to catch up on" I said
"That would be later because I need Priscy to shoot a video with me" Kamsi sassed
"Isn't it getting dark?" I asked
"It will be in my room besides I have a ring light" she replied, pulling Priscy with her.
Priscy mouthed 'help me' an I chuckled.
"But isn't it a little late for Priscy to start, we already wrote our first test" I inquired
"Priscilla is a girl with brains. She'll be fine and don't worry we'll talk with the principal" Mum said and I nodded.
As I was about to ascend the stairs, I caught a glimpse of Kachi standing by the dinning room. She stared at me and bowed her head in embarrassment.
I should probably apologize
I went to her and pulled her to the kitchen, when we were out of earshot I turned to face her.
When I realized my hands were still on her, I immediately pulled away like she was burning fire.
I wouldn't want her getting the wrong message
