Tamilore's POV
I was still confused.
I sighed and left the restroom.
I went back to the cafeteria and sat to eat my food.
I was still hungry but didn't have an appetite.
I just stirred my food absentmindedly.
"Tami are you okay?"
There's only one person who calls me that
I looked up to find David standing beside me.
"When did you get here?"
"Two minutes ago."
I glanced round my table.
Fiyin, Folarin and Adesua were staring at me with concern.
"I'm fine. I'm just thinking about a fri-"
Can I call Madison a friend?
No that's too deep... I'm passing my laid out boundaries.
"I mean a student told me some confidential things and I'm just thinking about her situation" I corrected
"Okay.
But don't get worked up on it alright?" David asked
"Yes. Not like I'm being rude but why are you here?"
"Nothing really. I just needed to talk to Folarin when I saw your grim expression"
I replied with an 'oh'
He gave a nod to Folarin and he stood up.
They both left the cafeteria and I noticed David's friends go with them.
Strange.
Temilade's POV
The headache I'm having right now is so damn painful.
I massaged my head and gave out a loud sign.
"You okay?" Farayola asked
"Yes I'm good"
"So what's up. Anything you'd like to talk about?" I asked her
"No... there's nothing much going on" she replied with an attitude
I knew what was happening. Fara is still mad that I haven't made up with Tamilore.
I haven't even told her of that alien living in our house. All I told her was that Mum and Dad had a huge fight and Mum left.
The new boy walked up to our table.
It's strange how this boy lives with David but doesn't walk with him nor his friends.
He's always alone, listening to music through his airpods.
"Can I sit here?"
"Why?" I asked
Fara nudged me and gave me a look
"Sorry she didn't mean to come out rude. But you can have your sit after all everyone pays money to this school"
He gave a short nod and sat.
"So what are you doing here?" I shot at him
Fara hit me again and I mouth 'what' to her
"I'm sorry. She meant why are you sitting here as in you're always alone soo...." Fara trailed off and I gave an eye roll at the way she was trying to sooth him
