Book 2 in "The Human Nature Series".
While it can be viewed as a stand-alone, I don't recommend reading them out of order.
Bayou is the first book and it is a 10+ also.
The characters are amazing, the writing is beautiful and soulful. They drag you in and don't let go.
Very few books follow me when I shut down, but these make me want to see what's next and who/what will we meet next. The third book is in production and I can't wait.
