Strong and bold the self come forth.
No southern wind uproots the source.
It pays no mind to what or who.
Branches extend to places few...
Would care to tread, would dare to go
the tree stands firm,
Only he knows,
He takes the wind,
Withstands the rain,
Endures the heartache and the pain,
That comes and goes within each day,
Each month, each year, and yet he stays,
True to self,
To the life that was granted.
