"why especially audrey?"
"filipino mom. took like a whole week to convince her, but totally worth it" audrey giggled, getting into the van and sitting next to wyatt who was already asleep on the neck pillow someone had given him for christmas
"okay i brought the snacks! make some room!" jill chirped, rushing into the van with seven bags of chips in her hands, all different kinds of course.
"who's driving?" sophia inquired, hopping into the back seat and sitting next to jill for the chips and the chips only.
"justin is"
"you're kidding right? you all wanna die on new years or something?" lauren scoffed, sitting next to jaeden who was texting angela about what was going on like he had promised her
"don't worry laur it's less than an hour away justin can handle it" beth chimed in, getting on her phone to take a picture of jill who she thought looked so adorable with her snacks

"i would've driven us. but justin said he didn't wanna sit in the back with all the couples"
"you're all disgusting and i feel single" justin retorted, getting in the driver's seat and buckling his seatbelt before starting the engine, he made sure that all the doors were closed and that everyone was in the car before he started backing out of the driveway
"also lauren you need to trust me, i'm an excellent driver. i practiced"
and just as he said that, they heard the trash can falling over.
"that — that was part — anyways you guys'll be fine. we'll be there in less than an hour"
