AFTER WHAT JAEDEN FELT LIKE was one of the best auditions he's ever done. he went to a nearby café because he was hungry, angela on the other hand opted to go home so he just told her that he was going to get an uber. jaeden walked into the café, he looked down, trying to avoid eye contact in an attempt to conceal his identity as he made his way over to the counter to order.

"'and just cause you can't see me hurting, it don't mean it's all black and white"sang the singer, sitting on the stage with a guitar in hand.

thinking the voice sounded familiar, jaeden turned his head to the direction of the singer only to see a somewhat familiar face.

"well what do you know, it's justin holland"he muttered under his breath, waiting for the old lady in front of him to finish ordering

justin finished his song which was met by an applause from the seven people in the café. he thanked them before bowing and walking off the stage, standing in line behind jaeden.

surprisingly it took jaeden some time to gather up some courage. but ultimately he just decided to wing it

"hey lauren's brother"the brunette said, turning around to face justin whose eyes widened, the blonde's jaw dropped before he pointed at jaeden and said

"jaeden martell?"

"justin holland"

"aye! what a surprise! nice to meet you!"justin exclaimed, extending his hand out towards jaeden who shook his hand

"didn't expect to see you here"

"so you perform here often?"jaeden asked as they walked a little forward in line

"yeah, extra income. and i just like singing, so what are you doing here?"

"i just came from an audition so i'm getting some food"jaeden replied, justing pursed his lips and nodded. though it looked like he hesitated a little, justin decided to just go for it and said

"you going anywhere after this?"

"i don't understand — what is jaeden martell doing in my living room?!"lauren exclaimed frantically, pacing back and forth as they continued playing video games

"what were you doing on face time with him?"

"that's none of your business!"

"yeah well this isn't yours"justin snickered, lauren rolled her eyes at her brother and stormed up to her room. she plopped down on the bed laying on her stomach, immediately going on her phone
