It had been a few days since the carnival trip and I'd spent most of them with Ron or George. I was sitting in the dining room eating breakfast when Pa came in holding a copy of the daily prophet

"They are still putting out this garbage! She hasn't even spoken to that woman!" He yelled before his eyes landed on me and he immediately put the paper behind his back.

"What's going on?" I asked confused looking around to see everyone avoiding my gaze so I sighed apparating behind him to snatch the paper and then walking back to my seat

"He's a lying about you know who and he lied and Cedric! Harry Potter is a liar!.... Was all Star Lupin Black managed to say when I spoke to her last before she broke into tears at the loss of her long time boyfriend Cedric Diggory!- What is this shit?! I never said any of this!" I gasped in horror

"She's been sort of writing things like this for months..." Ron mumbled pulling the paper from my hands before I could read more.

"This one's more tame than the others." Ginny sighed

"And people are believing this?!" I looked around and everyone nodded

"Seems they'll believe anything if it helps them deny the truth." Pa said angrily

"This is ridiculous!" I scoffed crossing my arms over my chest

I was sitting in my room with Ron and Hermione when Harry walked in.

"Oh, Harry. Are you all right? We overheard them talking about the Dementor attack. You must tell us everything." Hermione rushed out hugging him

"Let the man breathe, Hermione." Ron mumbled as I pulled her back a bit

"And this hearing at the Ministry. It's just outrageous. I've looked it up. They simply can't expel you. It's completely unfair." She continued

"Yeah, There's a lot of that going round at the moment. So, what is this place?" Harry asked looking around my room

"It's headquarters." Ron answered and I nodded

"Of the Order of the Phoenix. It's a secret society. Dumbledore formed it back when they fought You-Know-Who." Hermione explained

"Couldn't have put any of this in a letter, I suppose? I've gone all summer without a scrap of news." Harry complained

"We wanted to write, mate. Really, we did. Only..." Ron defended

"Only what?" Harry asked almost yelling at us

"Only Dumbledore made us swear not to tell you anything." Hermione sighed

"Dumbledore said that? But why would he keep me in the dark? Maybe I could help. I'm the one who saw Voldemort return... the one who fought him, who saw Cedric Diggory-" Harry ranted but stopped quickly when his eyes landed back on me

"Harry!" The twins cheered as the apparated into the room

"Thought we heard your dulcet tones." Fred joked

"Don't bottle it up, though, mate. Let it out." George continued before Fred began to speak again

"If you're all done shouting..."

"Do you wanna hear something a little more interesting?"

"If anyone has a right to know, it's Harry. If it wasn't for Harry... we wouldn't even know Voldemort was back. He's not a child, Molly." Pa voice rang out from the twins ear

"But he's not an adult either. He's not James, Sirius." Molly argued

"Well, he's not your son." Pa stated

"He's as good as. Who else has he got?" Molly yelled

"Think I'm gonna go back to my room." I whispered to Ron who nodded

"Do you want me to come with?"

"No, it's alright darlin. I know you wanna spend time with Harry an all." I laughed softly before going back to sit on my bed and read Alice in Wonderland for the hundredth time this summer.

Since I already had my books for the upcoming school year I spent the majority of my time in my room for the sole purpose of staying as far away from order business as possible. I didn't trust Dumbledore and in all honesty I blame him for a lot not that my opinion mattered very much these days.

"Hey... can we talk?" Harry asked standing in my doorway holding a copy of the daily prophet. I nodded gesturing for him to join me on my bed. We sat in an awkward silence seeing as this is the first time the two of us had been alone together since before the last task so we hadn't really discussed anything rumors, feelings, an all.

"I um.. I want you to know that I'm on your side here. I haven't talked to anyone or said any of the awful things the prophet's been writing..." I mumbled awkwardly as I looked over at him and he nodded

"I'm sorry I haven't really been there for you either, you're basically my sister and we haven't spoken in ages..."

"I don't blame you! For any of it, the distance or what happened to Ced. I don't blame you." I whispered and he smiled

"Is it a bad time to mention how close you and Ron have gotten?" He joked and I rolled my eyes

"Not you too! Pa has been on us for weeks, thinks Ron's in love with me or something."

"Because he is." Ginny called as she walked past the door reading a book

"Who is what? Oh hello Harry." Ron smiled entering the room and sitting on the floor by my feet

"Hello Ron." Harry laughed as he smiled at me

"Star? Could you come help me with this?!" Pa called from somewhere in the house causing the portrait of my horrid grandmother to start screaming

"Shut the hell up you old bat!" I called as she began to go on a rant about 'blood traitors' and 'mud bloods' being in her home.
