It was finally time to go back to Hogwarts, luckily I was able to have a break from my daily abuse but only because they wanted me to be able to play it off when I got back to school. I was able to shower and change my clothes but there was nothing I could do about the bruises I had all over my body
"Make sure you put make up on to cover that ugly face of yours!!" Rose yelled bang on the door. I did what she told me but I didn't respond. The Walsh's found my new accent annoying. It was a strong southern accent with a twang of British the accent that Cedric would often tell me was adorable. I haven't spoken in over a week out of pure fear. I sighed looking myself over.
Good enough. I sighed fastening my belt and ran my hand through my hair. With another deep sigh I left the bathroom and walked towards the front door where I knew the Walsh's would be waiting

"Listen here you little bitch, don't say nothing to no one. You understand? Nobody likes a burden." Greg said as he yanked me towards him by my hair and then shoving me out the door.
"You'll be walking to wherever it is you have to be. We have plans, and seeing as you've done it once there's no reason you can't do it again." Rose said laughing as if she'd made the joke of the year. I nodded leaving the house as fast as I could with a limp.

It took me about two hours to get to King Cross luckily I got there in just enough time to slip into an empty train compartment.
I sat with a sigh trying to move as little as possible
"Well well well, look what we have-" I heard Draco say in a joking manor before sitting a across from me
"Draco, please not now." I wheezed cutting him off as I held my sides in pain
"What the bloody hell happened to you?!" He asked suddenly worried
"Nothing, I'm fine." I said giving him a fake smile
"Look I know we aren't on the best of terms but something clearly happened." He said reaching out to touch me but I flinched away
"Ok something definitely happened."
"How do you know? Maybe I don't want your pureblood supremacy germs." I sassed and he sighed pulling out his wand
"I'm gonna to heal you." He mumbled looking at me for permission
"What makes you think I need any healin?" I asked defensively
"Star, if I noticed then Potter will definitely notice, as will your boyfriend Diggory. And your father who happens to be a professor. Now stop being stubborn and let me heal you." He snapped almost as if he was angry. I sighed laying back and he stood over me murmuring spell incantations
"How's it that you can do magic outside of school? Don't we have traces?"
"Father got mine removed ages ago." He mumbled simply returning to focus. He healed me as much as he knew how but I was sure I'd still have bruises.
We sat in a comfortable silence for awhile just looking out the window.
"He's not my boyfriend by the way." I whispered
"What?" He asked with a laugh
"Cedric, he's not my boyfriend."
"Don't you guys go on dates like all the time?"
"Yea, but right when I think he's going to ask me to be his girlfriend he runs off to quidditch practice, his friends interrupt, or he has prefect duties." I explained and Draco was silently contemplating an answer before he simply said
"Ask him."
"What?"
"Ask him to be your boyfriend."
"You know what, I just might do that." We laughed
"I won't tell anyone about this, not the Diggory thing but the healing thing. Just um....promise me you'll go see Madam Pomfrey when we get back?" He mumbled and I nodded
"Thanks for carin. You aren't to bad Malfoy." I smiled
"What's that supposed to mean?"He asked with a smile
"Oh don't get me wrong, you're an absolute prick most of the time. But when you aren't tryin to prove yourself to everyone, you aren't half bad." I laughed he just shook his head rolling his eyes

We sat joking and telling funny stories until we got back to Hogwarts. I didn't bring my robes so I'd have to change once I got inside.
"Be careful alright, and good luck with Diggory." He smiled
"Of course, thanks for healin me." I smiled
"I'm going to hug you now." He said hesitantly holding his arm out.
"Okay." I smiled letting him pull me into a hug before we went our separate ways.
I figured I had roughly 25 minutes to get to the common room, check over my bruises, and change into my robes before my friends knew I was back.

"Star!" I heard Fred yell as I was wrapping my torso in a bandage to help support my ribs until they healed
I sighed pulling my robe around me and hesitantly going downstairs. Draco was right, they'd totally notice. And I had no idea what I'd tell them when they did.
"Hello my loves! I have returned!" I yelled entering the common room and everyone laughed.
"The love of my life has returned for me!" Ginny yelled as someone hugged me from behind I flinched a little but tried to remain as relaxed as possible
"You ok there love?" Oliver asked removing his arms from around me and I quickly nodded
"Of course, you just scared me is all. Nothin to worry about Darlin." I smiled

It had been a few weeks and unfortunately I'm still a bit jumpy. I was trying to push through everything but it think everyone is starting to notice. I sighed softly as I stood in front of the mirror taking the bandage off.
"Oh crap I didn't kno- WHAT THE HELL?!" Ginny yelled opening the door to our shared bathroom.
I still had bruises and scars all over my torso and arms some were fading but overall it was still noticeable
"What happened?" Hermione asked coming into view and she gasped
"Well so much for keepin this a secret." I groaned pulling my shirt on.
