Marc and I were getting into it. We were on his couch and he was shirtless. He had a great body. It wasn't Matt great but still great.

Wait. Where did that thought come from?

Suddenly my phone started ringing.

"Ignore it." Marc murmured.

I quickly glanced at it.

"It's Matt."

He pulled back and looked at me. "You should answer it."

I gave him a what the fuck look. He ignored me and handed me the phone.

"Hello." I answered.

"I'll go shower." Marc said, getting up and walking out. "Say hi for me."

I nodded at him. Damn, he'd got me all hot and bothered.

"Mikayla, it's me."

"How are you Matty?"

"Ugh. Are you at home?" He asked.

"No, I'm at Marcs."

"So your in San Francisco?"

"Yeah."

"Fuck." He snapped.

"Matt." God, he sounded pissed.

"I had a fight with April and I needed someone to talk too."

"Oh no, what about?"

"Doesn't matter does it, your not here anyway." He stated.

"That's not fair Matt, you know I have to work." He'd hurt my feelings.

"And what, I don't?" God, he was so pissed. "And where's mister perfect?"

"Matt, what is your problem?"

"My problem is you. What is the point of being friends when your never here when I need you."

With that said he hung up on me.

I sat there staring at my phone. He'd hung up on me. He'd actually hung up on me.

I felt tears sting my eye's and I quickly wiped them away as Marc walked back in.

"How's Matt?" He asked.

"I dunno." I shrugged. "I think he's not talking to me."

"Aw babe, I'm sorry." He said, pulling me into his arms. "Now where were we?"

I put my hands on his chest and pushed him away gently.

"I'm sorry, I just......"

"It's okay. Let's see what's on TV."

He turned it on and got comfortable.

I couldn't watch it, I couldn't concentrate.

What was Matt's problem and why the hell had he taken it out on me?

Tears stung my eye's again and I wiped them away.

Fuck him. I didn't need him in my life anyway.
