Chapter Nineteen

"Is that meal enough for your breakfast?" Isaiah asked me.

We're having breakfast in my dining table and I'm sitting on the chair beside him.

I nodded to him. "I usually eat light meals in the morning. Dahil lang naman sa mga pinadala mong pagkain noong nakaraan kaya puro heavy ang nagiging breakfast ko eh."

"I should continue sending you foods everyday..."

"No. It's fine. Mahihirapan ako sa diet ko eh."

"Bakit kailangan mo pang mag-diet? You're too thin, Meis." Sambit nya habang nakatitig sa katawan ko.

I smirked. "Because...nadadagdagan ang size kapag nasa tv na. I don't want people to body shame me."

Isaiah stopped eating his toast. "Who's body shaming you?"

I can't help but giggled when I saw Isaiah's fiercing eyes. Parang kulang nalang ay ipahanap nya lahat ng nangba-bash sa akin at ipatorture ang mga ito. Thats not a good idea, Gambino.

"Normal lang iyon. May mga tao talagang mahilig manlait. Kailangan ko lang na masanay pa..." I said to him.

"Hindi mo kailangang masanay, those kinds of people shouldn't be tolerated. They're immature, Meis."

I got stunned because I didn't expect that he's going to say that.

I smiled and caressed Isaiah's cheek. "Thank you for worrying about me, babe."

After finishing our breakfast, Isaiah went back to my room because he's going to call Vale. Niligpit ko nalang muna ang mga pinagkainan namin at ginamit ko sa pagluluto tapos pinuntahan narin sya sa kwarto. Kakatapos nya lang sa phone call nya pagpapasok ko.

"Is Vale going to fetch you?" I asked while walking towards him.

Isaiah held my waist then he pulled me down and let me sit on his lap. He really likes it when I'm sitting on him.

"Uh-huh," I got ticklish when he gave me feathery kisses on my cheek and at the back of my ear.

"You didn't bring your, uh, car?" Shocks! Nawawala na naman ako sa sarili dahil sa ginagawa nya sa akin.

"I borrowed Andreas' motorbike because I want to go to you immediately. Pinakuha nya rin kaagad sa tauhan nya kaninang madaling araw." He's still kissing me while saying it.

Speaking off Andreas...I clasped his face to make him looked at me. He slightly got irritated because of what I did.

"What?" He uttered.

"What happened to Andreas? Is he alright?"

Hindi nya muna ako sinagot, mas hinigpitan nya ang pagkakayakap sa baywang ko tapos binaon ang mukha sa leeg ko.

"He got shot,"

My eyes widened in shock. My heart also skipped a beat because of what Isaiah answered.

"But his lady guard saved him. If it's not because of her, Ades may have died." He added.

"Is the l-lady guard o-okay?"
