Chapter Four

"Can't you stop kidnapping me if you need something from me!?" Untas ko kay Isaiah Gambino.

They didn't put blindfolds on me this time so I know that they brought me to one of Petunia's hotels and by the way it looks, we're in the VIP suite.

"Binigay ko na sayo ang contact number ko, diba? Bakit hindi mo nalang ako tinawagan?" I've been waiting for your call the whole week!

"I'm busy,"

I huffed because of his short and cold answer.

"Busy daw pero may panahon para kidnappin ako..." I whispered.

"What did you say?"

"Wala. Do you have my phone? Can I call my handler first? Baka atakihin na iyon sa puso dahil bigla akong nawala..."

Tumingin si Isaiah sa isa nyang tauhan, sinenyasan nya lang ito tapos nilabas na ang cellphone ko at inabot sa akin.

"Thanks," Medyo sarkatisko kong untas.

While I'm dialling miss Kathy's number, I kept on pulling down the hem of my dress. I'm still wearing my outfit on my performance which is a flower embroidered asymmetric cami dress, a plain white iconic socks and a platform sneakers. My hair is styled in high ponytail and I'm just wearing a dangling earrings for my accessory. I'd already removed some of my makeups but I still need to wash my face at home.

Nakaupo ako ngayon sa sofa kaya bawat galaw ko, umiiksi din ang suot kong dress. Kailangan kong itong hilahin para hindi makita ang suot kong cycling shorts.

"Where the hell are you, Meisie!?" Halos mabingi ako sa lakas ng boses ni miss Kathy pagsagot nya sa tawag ko.

"Pagbalik ko sa parking lot wala ka na. Saan ka ba pumunta? Tapos kanina hindi mo pa sinasagot ang mga tawag ko? What are you doing, Meisie? Do you want me to die because of you?" She continued.

"No, of course not, miss. Sorry kung hindi kaagad kita natawagan, my phone is lowbat..." Pagdadahilan ko.

"And? Would you mind telling me where you are right now so I can pick you up? And also the reason why you suddenly disappeared?"

Napatingin ako kay Isaiah nang mapansin syang hinuhubad ang suot nyang suit. Akala ko naiinitan lang sya kaya nya hinubad ito, pero bigla nya nalang ipinatong ang suit nya sa binti ko para matakpan ito, then umupo sya sa sofa na nasa harapan ko. Natulala tuloy ako dahil sa ginawa nya, I almost forgot that I'm still talking to my manager.

"Hello, Meisie? Why the hell you're not answering me?!"

"Hello, miss? I, um..."

I watched Isaiah Gambino as he fold the sleeves of his white shirt until his elbows. It's like I'm watching a TV advertisement about men's clothes and he's the freaking model! Then he looked at his subordinates again and signal them to go outside.

Kaagad naman akong nag-iwas ng tingin nang binalik nya ang tingin nya sa akin. Napansin nya kaya ang paninitig ko sa bawat galaw nya? Shuta ka, Meisie! Kumalma kang babae ka.

"Meisie!" Miss Kathy sounded so piss that she already yelled my name.
