And still because of that guy stranger with a green eyes I unconsciously found myself admiring every green eyes I’ll meet. My first boyfriend got a pair of green eyes. But not like that stranger my first boyfriend didn’t give me that feeling. The feeling of like he’s calming me down. That stranger with a green eyes where I found comfort and it gives me peace everytime I imagine staring at him, at his eyes. So I ended up breaking with my first boyfriend.  The rest of my flings got the pair of green eyes but no one makes me feel at home and like I am one with the nature. Until I found one. He’s not one of my flings and I’d never met him before.

“What’s that guy’s name?” tanong k okay Camz habang nakatingin sa lalaki sa bleacher.

Napatingin din doon si Camz. Mukhang isa ito sa mg guests sa swimming practice namin.

“Seriously! You don’t know him?” hindi makapaniwalang tanong sa akin ni Camz.” Did you spent all your life under the ocean, Miss Cassidy Kingsley.” She said teasingly.

I chuckled and grins at her.”Sino nga siya?”

“That’s Deyron Corrins. He’s the second in Corrins Cousin. He’s six years older than you. Sobrang seryoso at tahimik na tao. Madami din ang babaeng nagkakandarapa sakanya pero katulad ng pinsan nitong si Elysian ay ni isa walang pinansin.” Pagkukuwento niya.

Deyron Corrins. He’s six years older than me? I’m 15 years old now that means he’s in his 21? Age is just a number. When I was given a chance agad akong lumapit sakanya at nagpakilala. Wala namang masama kung kakaibiganin ko siya.

“Hi! I’m Cassidy Kingsley. Are you from the deepest part of the ocean?” hirit ko na ikinakunot ng noo niya pero hindi ko na iyon pinansin.” Cause you got me in out of breath the first time I laid my eyes on you.” I grinned at him making him shake his head. Mas lalo tuloy akong naaliw sa reaction niya.

“I’m  also a good swimmer kaya kahit nasa pinakailalim ka pa ng karagatan sisirin pa rin kita para masilayan ang nakakahumaling mong mga mata.”dagdag ko pa.

I heard the other boys laugh but he didn’t.

“Okay that was not funny. I’ll try my luck again next time.” I told him, confidently.

“That’s actually smooth for a fifteen years old girl, Miss Cassidy.” I don’t know him pero mukhang mabait. Nginitian ko siya.”Thank you.”

“I agree. That’s a good one. Matry nga iyan minsan.” Anotherr boy commented.

“Shut up, Ashen. Wala kan originality.”

“Yeah right, Pierre.”

Kakausapin ko pa sana si Deyron pero lumapit na sa akin ang isa sa team ko at tinawag na ako.

“I’ll see you again, Deyron.” Paalam ko sakanya. Hindi siya kumibo at tuluyan na akong umalis.

At dahil subsob sa training at kabilaan ang competiton hindi ko na siya nakita pa at muli ko nanamang nakalimutan ang tungkol sa pares ng berdeng kulay ng mata na iyon.

The next passing month I went extra hard training and activities to get prepare for the upcoming competition.

At dahil tumatanda na ako ay kahit papaano ay nagkakaroon na ako ng kalayaan na pumunta sa kung saan ko gusto pero may napagtano din ako na habang tumatanda mas lumalaki ang responsibilidad at mas nagiging mabigat iyon.

I remembered that one particular day where I lose in a competition. It was my first and I promise that I will never lose again. Sobra ang galit at pagkakadismaya ni papa noong natalo ako. It was a local competition hindi ko alam kung saan ako nagkamali but later on it was found out that the champion cheated and that I should won instead of her. Pero hinayaan ko na iyon at hindi kinuha ang medalya at karangalan na para dapat sa akin.

“Ang strict talaga sayo ng papa mo noh? Buti nakakaya mo?” Camz asked.

“He’s my father he’s only doing what he think that’s good for me.”pagtatanggol k okay papa.

“Kahit na. Naranasan mo man lang ba makipaglaro sa ibang bata maliban sa magensayo ng magensayo lumangoy?” she asked me curiously and I shook my head for an answer.

“See. Strict nga siya! Hindi naman ganyan ang papa k. I mean swimming is my hobby and he’s really supporting me but he’s not pressuring me.” Aniya at umiiling-iling pa.”You know supporting is different from pressuring you,  Cass.” She make sense about that.

I only smile at her sadly.” I guess we have a different father and we are raise perfectly different, Camz.” Iyon na lang ang tangi kong nasabi.

“Why don’t you try to discuss it with your father? Maybe he’ll understand you?” suhestyon niya pero napailing lang ako.

“CASSIDY!” it was papa.

Agad akong tumayo at lumapit dito.”Papa.”

“Practice.”tipid na sabi niya at tumango naman ako.

Practice at bahay lang ang nagging buhay ko sa makalipas na 11 years ng buhay ko until I turn 18 and finally mas maluwag na ang freedom na maroon ako kumpara sa dati. It was this day that I got a lot more fun and became really famous in this field. Mas lalong umingay at sumikat ang pangalan ko. But despite of all my success for papa it is still not enough. Kailangan ko pa ding magensayo ng magensayo para mas lalo pang gumaling. There are days where it was really tiring, like draining all of my energy and I just want to rest but I know I can’t. Later on I became the face of KLC. But still it is not enough.

There are also time when mhy parents argue about how papa is so strict when it comes to me. Pero dahil ayoko silang mag-away ay sinasabi kong ayos lang ako at kaya ko but really, deep down inside I am not okay anymore. And since I got no one to talk about it madalas sa kulay asul na karagatan ko sinasabi ang lahat ng problema at mga gumugulo sa isipan ko. It’s funny that it’s the reason that makes me in pain but it’s also the only one who comforts me.

“Cass?”

“What are you doing here?” binalingan ko si David.

Umupo din siya sa buhanginan at tumabi sa akin.” Alam ko naman na dito kita lagging matatagpuan pag gusto mong magrelax.” He answered.

Hindi ako sumagot.

“Nakakapagod ang training ngayon noh?” aniya.

“Yeah.”walang ganang sagot ko.

“Kaya nga bukas since maaga tayo matatapos sa training naisipan ko na yayain kayong lahat na pumunta sa bahay.” Sumulyap siya sa akin.

Napailing naman ako.”Baka hindi ako payagan.” I told him.

“Ipinaalam kita sa mama mo at pumayag siya.”He grinned at me.

“Talaga?”

Tumango siya.” Oo. At sasabihin ko mamaya sa kasambahay naming na siguraduhing may stock ng ice cream sa refrigerator at iyong paborito mo pa! Kaya pumunta ka bukas ah?” he smiled at me.

Napangiti din ako at excited na para bukas.

“Kaya wag ka ng malungkot.”he said.
