I just got out of Hotshot’s brain, and there were things that worried me. Locked memories, which are never good. Once Hotshot left, I walked up to Ratchet as I gave him a worried look. Ratchet looked at me worried.

“That look is never good. What’s wrong, Firefrost?” Ratchet asked me. I sighed and looked at the monitor.

“Hotshot has locked memories. That isn’t good considering his age. It makes me worried, and you know how hard it was for me to unlock my memories once I found out that I had some locked memories,” I told him with tears in my eyes. Ratchet put his hand on my shoulder as I gave him a sad look.

“I know. You’ll help him, you always know how to help those who need it. Trust me, I have seen it with my own two eyes for a long time,” Ratchet told me. I nodded my head. Just then, a scream ripped through the silence. We perked up and looked at each other. We nodded our heads as we ran towards where the scream came from. I saw Hotshot on his knees as Heatwave looked like he did not know what to do. I ran up to Hotshot, lifting him into my arms. I rubbed his back, whispering comforting words to him. I gave Heatwave a glare, as he stepped back.

“What the hell did you do?” I yelled at him. He looked at me guilty. He couldn’t produce words as my glare hardened.

“Um, I tried to talk to him. I wanted to clear some things with him,” he informed us nervously. I could feel how pissed Ratchet was with him.

“What are you, stupid? Hotshot just came out with a delicate procedure. His mind is all over the place and he needs time to process things!” Ratchet yelled as Heatwave flinched. By this point, everyone that was looking for Hotshot came with worried looks. I was still comforting Hotshot as I looked at what was going through his mind as he wasn’t calming down, it was only getting worse. I could sense that his locked memories were trying to unlock, but something was holding him back.

“What’s going on with Hotshot?” Wedge asked. I looked at Ratchet nervously.

“Hotshot has locked memories. It’s not a good thing, but most people keep them locked. It is painful to unlock the locked memories because most of them are memories that are too painful to remember. That's my own experience with it. I believe that Heatwave did something that triggered him to unlock the memories now,” I informed them as I gave Heatwave a glare. He looked down in guilt. “Now, I will be asking you about things later, but for now, I need to go back into Hotshot’s head to help him. I am useless out here.”

“I’ll reset the operation!” Ratchet yelled as we all followed him. He redid the operation as I was in Hotshot’s head once more. This time, the others were watching from my point of view. I saw Hotshot surrounded by a cloud of memories, all of them fuzzy, as he looked troubled. I pushed my way to him as the surrounding memories were hard to get through. Once I got to the young boy, I gave him a hug and comforted him.

“Hotshot, breathe,” I whispered to him as he hugged back, whimpering. I pulled away, looking into his eyes.

“What’s going on?” he whimpered. I sighed

“You are unlocking some locked memories. You need to calm down first before I can help you out. I know this is painful. But when you calm down, it will hurt less. You need to breathe first,” I told him. He began to breathe as the memories stopped blurring together and into distinct memories. There were about five that surrounded us as I gave him a smile. “Good. Now let’s focus one at a time. You can choose which one we will start with, okay?”

“Okay,” he muttered as a memory came into focus. The other memories disappeared as the surroundings changed. He was in an alleyway with five other bots, all older than him. We could tell that he was crying due to the tears on his face, but he was silent. The two infront of Hotshot were Autobots that seemed to be his creators, while the other three were Decepticons with weapons.

“Just give us what we want and we will leave you alone,” the leader of the Decepticons said in a sickly sweet voice. I felt Hotshot become frigid. I held him a little closer as we watched. The Decepticons took a step closer as the two Autobots took a step backwards.

“We will never let you get him, even if our life depends on it! He’s our son!” The male Autobot yelled, despite the obvious fear that he was showing. The Decpticons growled before smirking.

“If you don’t let us have him then I guess we'll just kill you!” the leader smirked. The Autobots tried to fight, but were held back by the other two bots. The leader started with the male as he tore open his chest, taking out his spark, smashing. Hotshot was screaming while the other Autobot was yelling curses, tears running down her face. Then the leader did the same to the female before they began to walk up to Hotshot smirking. At that moment, the police arrived as the Decepticons ran. Then the memory faded away, leaving us the other four memories. Hotshot was crying, as I was.

“I understand why that was locked off. I’m sorry Hotshot,” I whispered to him. We did the other memories, which were not as hard as the last memory, but they were not easy either. I looked up, sighing.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered. I gave him a sad look.

“Don’t be sorry, it’s not your fault. I am just thankful I could help you with it. Ratchet, stop the process, and you know what to do,” I said as I left his mind after a few moments. I went over to Hotshot, who was just waking up, and kneeled in front of him. Ratchet left the room immediately. “You need rest. Do you want me to take you to your room and stay with you?”

“You don’t have to do that,” Hotshot told me. I gave him a warm smile.

“I am offering to do it because I want to help you. So do you want me to stay with you in your room so you can calm down and get some rest?” I asked him again. He nodded his head. I picked him up and carried him to his room. He fell asleep on the way there. Poor kid, but he is very strong. Once we got to his room, I layed down, as I watched him sleep. Soon enough, I fell asleep with Hotshot with one last thought. ‘I hope Ratchet tears at Heatwave for not following protocol.’

A/N: sorry for the late delay. I was busy with school and finals but I should be able to update more. I will have to finish a few chapters before uploading them, but more will be coming. I don't know how much longer this book will be, but I think I'm going to be around 20 or more chapters.

Until then, Peace out Peeps!
