Chapter 20

Hayley was in The living room of The Cullen's house. She looked at the box that had a necklace from The Voltouri. The Voltouri had accepted both of Hayley and Bella status as vampires. But it seemed as they only had one enemy. Time. Renesmee was growing fast. And it worried Hayley a lot. Carlisle would always check her height and Hayley watched as her daughter grew. She was scared of Renesmee would not live a long life. The pack and Emily would always try and comfort her. But they weren't gonna lie when they said they weren't scared if Renesmee would love a long life because they were. They had grown to love Renesmee as their own child. It just made every moment they had as a family more precocious. Hayley, Renesmee and Jacob were in the woods.

Renesmee was catching snowflakes. "Look mommy a snowflake" Renesmee said. "It's beautiful why don't you catch another one" Hayley said. Renesmee nodded and went to go catch another snowflake. "Bella said that Edward thinks their could be answers in Brazil. Like a tribe legend or a story that could help us" Hayley said. "Well let's hope they find an answer soon" Jacob said in mind link. Renesmee jumped in the air and got a snowflake Hayley smiled. Renesmee looked somewhere and saw a woman. Hayley and Jacob walked over and Renesmee ran and his behind Jacob leg. "Whose that" Renesmee asked. "I think that's our cousin from Denali" Hayley said. Jacob growled. "Irina" Hayley yelled. Irina took one last look and sped away. "Stay here honey" Hayley said before speeding away. Hayley looked around when she stopped running. Then she heard something hit the water. She went to go see what it was but saw nothing. The water looked like something hit it. Hayley sighed. She sped back to Jacob and Renesmee. "Let's go home" Hayley said. Renesmee got on Jacobs back and they sped away back to the Cullen's house. Once they got back they told The Cullen's what happened. "Tanya convinced Irina to come reconcile with us" Carlisle said hanging the phone up. "It looks like she changed her mind" Edward said. "Seeing Jacob must have been too much for her" Esme said. "Wish I could have just spoken to her" Hayley said. "She's family she'll come around" Carlisle said. Soon Edward was teaching Renesmee how to play the piano. Edward and Bella were Renesmee godparents. They loved her as much as Hayley did. As Edward was playing the piano and Renesmee watching Bella recognized the melody. It was the same one Edward played Bella when Bella first moved to school.
~The next day~
Everyone of The Cullen's were on the living room. Carlisle and Esme were playing chess. Jasper was reading. Rosalie, Emmett, Bella, Edward, Jacob, and Hayley were watching Renesmee play the piano. Hayley watched with a smile. Then the sound of glass shattering made everyone look. Alice was standing there with glass shards everywhere. Jasper sped to her. "Alice what is it." Jasper asked. "The Voltouri. Their coming for us. Aro, Caius, Marcus, The Guard and Irina" Alice said. "Honey come here" Hayley said to Renesmee. Renesmee walked to her mother. "Why" Carlisle asked. "What did Irina see in the woods" Edward asked. "We were just walking" Hayley said. "Ness was catching snowflakes" Jacob said. "Of course" Edward said. Hayley and Bella looked confused. "Irina thinks Renesmee is an immortal child" Edward said. Hayley and Bella listened to the stories of the immortal children. Beautiful but dangerous. When they were turned they weren't restraint and couldn't control their blood thirst. So they had to be destroyed. Hayley grew angry at people thinking her daughter was an immortal child. "Well Renesmee is nothing like those children she was born not bitten. She grows every single day" Hayley said. "Can't you explain that to The Voltouri" Jacob asked placing a hand on Hayley shoulder. "Aro ha enough proof on Irina thoughts" Edward said. "So we fight" Jacob said. "Their offensive weapons are too powerful. No one can stand against Jane" Jasper said. "And Alec's even worse" Hayley said. "Well then we convince them" Bella said. "Their coming to kill us not talk" Emmett said. "No your right. They won't listen to us. But maybe others can convince them. Carlisle you have friends all over the world" Edward said." I won't ask them to fight" Carlisle said." not fight witness. If enough people knew the truth maybe we could convince The Voltouri to listen" Hayley said." we can ask this of our friends" Esme said. The family nodded in agreement.
~The next day~

The Cullen's were packing their stuff to go get witnesses. "At least we get to go to London again. We haven't been their in a long time" Esme said to Carlisle. He smiled at her. "Alright let's get this show on the road" Jacob said but then looked to see Sam walking to the house. The Cullen's walked outside. Renesmee ran to Sam. Sam smiled and bent down and picked her up. "Hey" Sam said. Renesmee smiled at him. Sam turned to The Cullen's and gave them a note. "Alice asked me to give you that. She and Jasper crossed out lands to the ocean last night" Sam said still holding Renesmee." Carlisle" Esme asked to see if everything was alright." they've left us" Carlisle said." why" Rosalie asked." she didn't say" Carlisle said. Hayley was shocked by this. She walked up." can I see that" Hayley asked. Carlisle gave her the note and she read it." Gather as many witnesses as you can before the snow sticks to the ground. That's when they'll come". Hayley sighed. Bella placed a hand on her sister shoulder for comfort." alright let's get going" Edward said. Hayley walked to Sam." we are getting witnesses like I told you last night Sam. We'll be back. After we get back I'll take Renesmee to see you or the pack can come here if you want" Hayley said." alright we'll come here. Be careful" Sam said. Hayley nodded. Sam passed Renesmee to Hayley and left. Hayley, Jacob and Renesmee got in the car withBella and Edward. They were taking a trip to their closest relatives in Alaska. Soon they arrived and Edward got out of the car. "Edward is everything alright? Why didn't you tell us you were coming" Tanya asked." is it Irina? We haven't heard from her" Carmen asked." not directly" Edward said." Why is your bride and sister in law waiting in the car. " Eleazar asked." Why have you brought a wolf with you? I can smell him from here" Kate said." My family's in danger I need your help" Edward said." what happened" Carmen asked." it's hard to explain but I need you to be open minded. Can you do that?" Edward asked. "Of course" Tanya said. Hayley turned to Renesmee who was sitting on her lap. "Okay time to meet some new people" Hayley said. "What if they don't like me" Renesmee asked. "They'll love you" Jacob said. "They will" Bella said agreeing with Jacob. "Once they understand you" Hayley said. "They just have met anyone like you before" Jacob said. Hayley smiled at him. "Okay" Hayley said. Bella, Jacob, and Hayley got out of the car. Hayley helped Renesmee out of the car. Renesmee grabbed her mother's hand once she got out. The Denali gasped. "The Voltouri will come for us" Kate said. "You get that thing out of here" Tanya said. "She's not what she looks like" Edward said. "This is a crime" Tanya yelled. Tanya tried to attack Edward but Edward pushed her back. Kate used her gift of electricity on Edward. Bella and Hayley sped over and Hayley grabbed Kate's other hand. Kate tried to use her gift on Hayley but it didn't work. Instead Hayley's eyes changed color with veins underneath her eyes. Hayley pushed Kate back. Soon both Denali sister sped over trying to attack. Hayley stood in front of Edward and Bella. Her face was still transformed into her hybrid face. "Stay back" Hayley said. The Denali sister stopped and became frightened by Hayley face. "She's has blood in her veins. You can feel her warmth" Edward said." I can feel it"Carmen said." My sister in law Hayley is biological mother" Edward said." it's true Bella had her while she was still human" Hayley said. " impossible" Kate said." look before I got changed into a vampire my body was weak to conceive a child. Instead my sister was the one to conceive and carry her for me. We were linked to each other. And now since I'm a hybrid of both vampire and werewolf my body can conceive a child" Hayley said." I've never heard of such a thing" Eleazar said." she can show you if you let her" Edward said. Hayley turned to Jacob. Jacob picked Renesmee up and walked toward them." Tanya you owe us this much. We're all under a death sentence because your sister didn't let us explain" Edward said. Jacob soon brought Renesmee over and Renesmee held her hand out to touch Tanya cheek and show her. Tanya stood back. "It's okay. This is how she communicates" Hayley said. Tanya soon stood and Renesmee touched her cheek. Renesmee showed Tanya all her earliest memories. Tanya soon saw how Renesmee and Hayley eyes changed. It was apart of Renesmee power. She inherited her mother's hybrids eyes. The eyes we're like intimidation. If someone wanted to kill her she would use her eyes and scare that person off. And once she got older veins would show under her eyes. Soon Renesmee pulled her hand away from Tanya cheek and Renesmee and Hayley eyes went back to normal. Tanya turned to her family. "It's true she's not immortal" Tanya said. Soon the family wanted to see and Renesmee was gladly to show them. Hayley knew people would be afraid as well but once they knew the truth they would help The Cullen's.
