I Love You Moments

This had to come out. I couldn't leave y'all hanging.

AnnaLeigh Moore

"AnnaLeigh. It is true that you had a miscarriage..." he said as I frowned.

"I know" I said as I waited for him to get the point. My skin started to sweat as I felt my heart beat quicken. The tone he was using was making me incredibly nervous.

"But only one of the baby's died" he said carefully as i chocked on air.

"Sorry?" I said as I sat more up in the bed.

"You have what us medical professionals call ' Vanishing Twin Syndrome (VTS)' only one Fetus responded to the miscarriage" he said as he looked down to his clipboard.

"What are you saying?" I asked as I looked down to my stomach. My head refused to process this information as I shook my head in disbelief.

"You're still Pregnant Miss Moore" he stood from his seat "You can have an abortion but it's risky. After the loss of your other child, your body is fragile and were not sure how it would respond"

"I- I need Draco" is all I said as the doctor simply nodded and left the room. I felt so mentally exhausted. Everything that has been going on with Scorpius and now a miscarriage that failed? I didn't know how to feel. It's not like I don't want kids but I was still in school.

I wasn't in a time in my life where I could provide for this child. I stroked my hands over my stomach as Draco came in alone. He came and sat just where the doctor sat.

"Ted wouldn't tell me anything, is everything ok?" He said, worry evident in his voice as my lower lip trembled. If didn't know if I could actually tell him. Would he leave me? He doesn't want a kid with a 19 year old.

"I want you to run a complex diagnostic on me. Once you have I want you to promise me-"

"Anna-"

"Promise me you won't leave me" my voice cracked slightly as his expression softened.

"Anna i would never" he whispered as tears filled my eyes. I nodded as I laid back for him to perform the charm.

He waved his wand Over me as a glowing white light shone above my stomach. It turned red and flickered, indicating a miscarriage which we already knew as Draco looked confused and pressed more into it. He pushed and swiped the light across and read the scripting before the red flickered and turned a bright green.

Draco stumbled back in his chair as I closed my eyes and chocked out a sob. Green meant that twins were present. Draco looked at me as I opened my eyes and urged for him to continue. He swallowed and continued with the scan. He fussed a bit more until half of the green light turned red.

Only one of them were alive.

Draco gasped and abruptly stood up in his seat. He dropped his wand to the ground and placed the heels of his hands into his eyes. He paced back and forth around the room as I finally sat up, the lights vanishing.

"Draco-"

I was cut off as he rushed towards me and pressed his lips to Mine.

"I'm not going to leave you. Not now, not ever" he whispered as he leaned his forehead on mine. I found myself breaking down in front of him, like I have never before.

He pulled away as I saw everyone bunched around outside the door. Draco looked back to me "Do you want me to let them in?"

I nodded as he smiled and opened the doors they came rushing in immediately as they stared at me, waiting for me to tel them the news.

I sighed and looked to them all.

"I- I have vanishing twin Syndrome" I said as they all looked confused. They waited for me to explain further but I wasn't sure if I could. The words struggled to leave my mouth as Draco cleared his throat and stepped in.

"Only one of the fetus' responded to the miscarriage. Anna was pregnant with twins and when she miscarried it only struck one of them. She's still pregnant with a child" he said slowly as my mother gasped and looked towards me.

"Anna-"

"Mum, please" I said, my voice cracking again as I pleaded with her. I couldn't handle her disapproval right now. I needed support.

"I love you" she smiled as small tears welled in her eyes "I love you no matter what" she hugged me as I felt my face heat up again "but I need a moment"

She pulled away and wiped the tears from her eyes. I understood and let her leave as Kehlani stepped into her place and held my hand. I smiled, I had missed her so much. I needed my best friend right now.

"Lani" I breathed out as she had her own tears in her eyes "Can we have a moment?" I asked everyone as they nodded.

"I'll go see how your mums doing" Tiffany said as she took Pandora's hand and led her out for the hospital room.

Albus looked to us and smiled before heading out after them. The room was no empty beside Kehlani and I. Silence filled the room as I sunk into it. I savoured it until I spoke.

"Lani, I'm sorry" I sobbed out as she shook her head and laughed.

"Do you remember back in 4th year when you lost your virginity?" She said as I let a laugh escape and nodded "it was- Benjamin Parker"

"Benjamin Parker" we both said at the same time as we laughed.

"You were drunk and you came to me because you regretted it so, so much" she shook her head "you cried for hours. I didn't know if it was because you were emotionally drunk or because you actually regretted it-"

"Oh no. I actually regretted it" I laughed as she squeezed my hand.

"I spent hours lecturing you and telling you that if you ever got pregnant i would beat the shit out of you. It worked as a cock block for almost a year until you got together with Scorpius" she laughed once more as I smiled.

"I was so scared you were gonna get pregnant with Scorpius despite how he treated you. I was so scared that you would end up having to spend your life with someone that didn't love you" tears Rolled down her cheek "it pained me to watch him mentally abuse you and there wasn't a thing I could do about it no matter how much I tried"

"Lani I-"

"But then you met Draco and even though you didn't, I saw the connection straight away that when you told me you were together I almost sighed with relief" she said "Draco is the one for you"

"He's your human. You and Scorpius were never meant to be. He was a phase in your life that in the future you'll cringe when it's mentioned" I laughed at her words "I had never seen you more happy then when your with him. The way your face lights up when he talks, your mood instantly changes when he walks into the room. You and Draco are gonna make beautiful parents and as long as your happy then so am I because that's all I wanted, was for you to be happy and now you are"

"I know that you want a life with Draco. Even if you don't know it yet, this was always your intention. I know that you had so much doubt, I mean who wouldn't. But you made it work because you love him and he loves you. Fuck the age difference, it's just a number. What Draco and you have is real. It always has and it always will be" I ran my thumb over the back of her hand as she continued.

"You have been through so much and being happy is the least you deserve. You are such a strong women AnnaLeigh and i know you'll take on whatever is thrown at you. I just hope that I'm around to stand along your side" I chocked out a sob as I pulled her down into a hug.

"You'll always be by my side no matter what either of us go through"

AHHHHH.

This was gonna be the last chapter but I can't end on 43. It will eat me from the inside out so the last chapter will be 45.
