Cari closed her eyes and felt the wind in her hair. She was falling. She inhaled deeply.
Those hands again. The warm, loving hands.
Cari tried to turn and see her saviour. But she was paralyzed.
The person put a finger on her lips. They gently delivered her down to Floor 15, skipping many floors in the process.
"Get out of here. Quickly. Your life is in danger."
It was a man.
"Who are-"
"You'll find that out soon enough. Get your memories back. Then you'll know all."
He let go of her.
Cari turned and looked behind her. She only saw the window. She was no longer paralyzed. She tried to find him. Yet all she saw was a bright, blue star in the distance.
