Who am I to have a dream girl if I have the girl i've been waiting for a long time already?

"Hey Maven, we're here" she whispered

It was already late and the whole place was already tranquil. Streets were empty. No noise or whatsoever. It made me yawn like three times or so.

"Hello Aunt Christine still sexy"

"Ang batang toh nagagawa pang magbiro kahit pagod na." She replied

"This kid can still joke around even if he's tired" Francia said smiling. Well I guess I needed the translation. As if I know their language.

"Well? come in come in!" Aunt Christine said "You've grown up to be a fine young man!" she added

"Bro you know Aunt can be quite noisy so just answer her questions so she won't nag you anymore" Francia whispered

Francia spoke to Aunt Christine, didn't hear the conversation but Aunt was nodding. I wonder what could it be. I'm too tired though. Its 1 in the morning already.

"So you're Alexis"

"Yes I am. Nice to meet you Aunt Christine"

"Though i'm not your real Aunt but okay. You can call me that. Any loved person of my boy is considered family."

"He's already tired"

"Oh yes yes. There the rooms."

"Aunt Christine they sleep in one room"

"Di mo naman sinabi na magjowa pala sila"

What the heck are they talking about.

"I'll take him to our room already. I guess he'd sleep on the floor anytime now." Alexis replied

"Take that room next with the table over there"

"Okay thank you Aunt Christine" Alexis added

She helped me to bed. As she turns off the light that's the perfect time.

grabs her hand "Hey Alexis"

"Yup?"

pulls her over to the bed. Locking her in my embrace.

"You'll sleep with me tonight Pig"

"Why? obvious there's no rooms left. This isn't a motel Maven."

"Shut up already and be cozy"

"I'm already cozy. Every time when i'm with you."

Oh my Gawd! Screams in my head. Jumps up and down and rolls in my imagination. I'm sleepy now I can't sleep anymore thanks to miss sweet cheesecake pants here.

"S-sorry about.."

"About what?"

"About me and Coltrane" she said emotionless

"If you're happy then that's okay"

"I hope so"

"Why? aren't you happy you're with someone you like?"

"Uhm, the truth is. I don't like him. Not at all."

"Then why be in a relationship?"

"I feel loved when he's around"

"Dude, don't hurt the guy with false affection."

"Yes, I know that Maven."

She shrugged in my embrace making no more sound or movement. I could just stay like this forever! I MEAN IT!

Her warm breath tickling my body making every body hair shiver. Honestly, in Coltrane's situation? I feel him holding on to something just to be loved. I kinda pity the guy now.

I've changed already...

changed my entire life...

Love and Understanding and every little thing i've asked for she gave it to me. Somehow it made me special.

Who the hell cares about bestfriends nowadays anyway? You love you get hurt. I guess i'd turn my bitter side on. I'm just a bestfriend. (to her)
