Its the day of Hammer's birthday party and I am expecting Sarah Ann to show up any minute. I did my last bit of cleanup around my house before I rushed to the main house.

As I am sprinting in because she told me she's about 10 minutes out, Ice stops me and asks me where the fire is at.

"You'll see." Is all I could tell him. As I made my way outside, with him, Hammer and Sketch behind me, I waited anxiously for her.

Just then I hear her pulling up. Blasting a Hank Williams song and I just started laughing. Yeah my girl knows how to bring in the party.

Country music singers
Have always been a real close family
But lately some of my kinfolks
Have disowned a few others and me
I guess it's because
I kinda changed my direction
Lord, I guess I went and broke their family tradition

They get on me and want to know
Hank, why do you drink?
Hank, why do you roll smoke?
Why must you live out the songs that you wrote?
Over and over
Everybody makes my prediction
So if I get stoned, I'm just carrying on
An old family tradition

I am very proud
Of my daddy's name
Although his kind of music
And mine ain't exactly the same
Stop and think it over
Put yourself in my position
If I get stoned and sing all night long
It's a family tradition

So don't ask me
Hank, why do you drink?
Hank, why do you roll smoke?
Why must you live out the songs that you wrote?
If I'm down in a honky-tonk
And some ole slick's trying to give me friction
I'll say leave me alone
I'm singing all night long
It's a family tradition

Lordy, I have loved some ladies
And I have loved Jim Beam
And they both tried to kill me in 1973
When that doctor asked me
"Son, how did you get in this condition?"
I said, "Hey, Sawbones
I'm just carrying on an ole family tradition"

So don't ask me
Hank, why do you drink?
Hank, why do roll smoke?
Why must you live out the songs that you wrote?
Stop and think it over
Try to put yourself in my unique position
If I get stoned and sing all night long
It's a family tradition.

She gets out of the truck before she shuts it off and we both were singing the song. As it ended we were wrapped up in each other's arms.

I pulled away and had her get back in the truck and follow me down to the side driveway by the house. Once I opened the gate wide enough she drive in and I closed the gate behind her.

She waited till I hopped in the bed of her truck and I yelledat her where to go. Once we got to the barn I told her I would bring Onyx out for her to see him as a surprise.

As I brought Onyx out to his rink, she whistled to him. He quickly looked in her direction and started to rear up making funny sounds. She walked over to him and he bowed to her.

"Hey big boy. I missed you. I have a surprise for you. Wanna see?"

I help her unload her horse and when the two horses finally see each other they start going crazy.
