Surprise! // Chapter 10

- September 9th

~ Athena's eyes

I woke up to my phone vibrating constantly, like someone was spamming me with messages. I always hated it when people spammed me, I still did it, but I didn't like it when people did it to me. 6:30 AM, oh my god

Niall :)

Niall :) : Athhhhhhhh
Niall :) : Wake uppppppp
Niall :) : I swear if you don't wake up I will go pick you up
Niall :) : Athenaaaaaaaaaaa

I rolled my eyes and let out a little giggle

Niall :)

Athena: Niaaallllllll
Athena: whaaaaatttttt

Niall :) : yay you woke up

Athena: I had to wake up anyways I got class

Niall :) : You do?

Athena: Yep at 8
Athena: is everything alright?

Niall :) : yeah, I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to grab breakfast together

Athena: Do I have a choice?

Niall :) : Ouch

Athena: Just kidding ofc

Niall :) : you're mean :(

Athena: I try :)

Niall :) : I hate you

Athena: The feeling is mutual

Niall :) : Can I virtually hit you with a pillow?

Athena: I'm afraid you can't bestie

Niall :) : Anyways be ready by 7, I'll pick you up :)

Athena: deal :)

I checked the time while my heart was beating as loud as Louis' screams in the video diaries.

I got up from bed and headed straight to the bathroom. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, combed my hair and made two loose braids. I headed to my closet to pick today's outfit, but I first checked how the weather was. It was a sunny day but still kind of cold, so I decided to grab my usual black baggy jeans and a white sleeveless crop top. I put on my white sneakers and applied a bit of perfume. I grabbed a beige cardigan just in case, and also grabbed my backpack. I figured that I could go have breakfast with Niall and then head to college.

I checked Anna's room to see if she was still sleeping, and there she was, cuddling with a pillow and talking in her sleep. I remember that when we shared a room back in our parents house, she would start talking in her sleep and I would freak out.

I woke up with an energy boost and decided that today was gonna be a productive day. When I told Ath that I had a surprise for her is because I had an idea. My next tour starts next year, and I still don't have an opening act. I talked to my managment and figured that Ath could be my opening act, and we could tour together. Since the tour starts next year she had enough time to produce some songs, and I was completely down to help her write and produce.
