Clove Chapter 33

"why don't we just wait her out?" Peeta says. We all look at him. "I mean she has to come down sometime for food and water." he finishes. "He's rite. Someone start a fire." marvel goes off and starts a fire I sit down cross legged because it getting kind of dark. Glimmer goes with Marvel to get fire wood. She dident want to but Cato made her. Cato sits next to me. I just stare at the ground. He softly grabes my face and turns it towards his. I just stare at him with a straight face."I'm sorry." he says slowly and quietly. That's when I can't hold back the tears. I lean into him and he wraps his around me. "I just don't understand we can never be together, and you and Glimmer-" "me and glimmer?" he cuts me off. I look up at him still in his arms and he looks down at me. "we both know one of us is going to die..." I say with a shake in my voice . My eyes are red and watery. Cato wipes the last small tear off of my cheek then kisses me softly. We heard glimmer and marvel coming so we pull away. That's when I notice that Peeta is just staring up into the sky.
