"So this is what you told" I asked in disbelief

"Exactly" she replied

It is already 5:30 pm, for about 1 hour Keerthi is trying different dresses on me and also make up

"You are telling me this will make me go"

"Come on, he can never stop looking at you after this, wait and watch" Keerthi beamed

"To make fun of me?" I asked

"Ofcourse not don't be so pessimist, people with eyes will not"

"I'll convince you by the end of this makeover" she added

As much as I want to look at myself in the mirror, Keerthi didn't allow me to

"Only after it's fully finished" she told

After a lot of trying, Keerthi at last chose me the dress for the day

"This?" I asked

"Yes this"

"I normally don't wear this"

"So what"

I was wearing a blue short dress with flower prints and a puff sleeve

"Isn't this too short" I asked

"So what?"

"And this heels is too high, how do you even walk in this?"

But Keerthi was too busy doing my make up

And at last

"Now look"

I looked at the mirror

Wow! This all made me look feminine and yeah pretty too

"See how you are staring at yourself" Keerthi told with satisfaction

"Don't you want to look like this before him, atleast once?" She asked

"I don't" I lied

"Keerthi I don't know whether this will work out, it's just a meeting"

"No it's not, do you think he'll not meet you again"

"No he will not"

"See Lily You didn't meet eachother after a long time for no reason, you both parted ways long back, then tell me why you both met again"

"It's a coincidence" I replied

"No it's not everything happens for a reason and there is a reason you met him again"

I really want to disagree with her, but she's right

"Okay...." I made up my mind

"...I will go"

Keerthi began to hop

"And don't forget to smile" she added "Don't be so nervous, and best of luck" she told with a wink

"You have to tell me every detail about what happened there, okay?" she asked

I nodded

Okay. It's just a meeting, I'll meet him just this once and that's all

In the cafe,

Lily took a seat away from the window

It's 6:30 already, maybe he's not coming, and that's good, right. All these thoughts were going on in Lily's head

When, the cafe door swinged open, and there he comes, I can hear each and every step of him nearing, as my heartbeat raised

He was wearing a white t-shirt with  black jeans and a jeans jacket

I took a deep breath, and put my hand up to show that I'm here

He saw me, and came towards my table

He took a seat next to me

Now I see him close, He has grown up a lot

I tried my best to smile as Keerthi told

"I thought you would wear a mask or something" I began

"Why?" He asked

"To cover your face"

He laughed, "People mostly don't recognise me here, we are in London you forgot. Even if they do recognise, it doesn't matter here"

"You have a lot of fans here too, I had seen yesterday"

"That's only in the stadium" he replied

"You really played great yesterday"

"It's a pleasure to get a praise from my childhood friend, you know it really feels genuine, as you know everything about me"

"Everything?" I asked

"Yes, everything" he told looking in my eyes

I looked down

"Now you are a celebrity" I told to myself

"Can't believe right?" He asked, making me look up at him again

"I know you are talented, and your dream was always to play for India so I'm happy that you achieved it"

He nodded

"Even I can't believe it"

"You deserve this for your hardwork" I told smiling

But there was something that told me otherwise

Because he didn't look happy at all

So I tried to change the topic

"Let's order something"

After giving our orders

"Enough talking about me now tell me about you" he said

"Me?" I blinked
