If you all hadn't noticed by now...a lot of my recommendations are fairytale type stories. I know it doesn't help the hardened critic rep I have but I JUST CAN'T HELP IT.
They're just soooooo addictive.
And this one is no exception.
Even though Val pisses me off at times, and resists all of Darren's hugs, it is an amazing story. And there's a sequel! Which I'm sort of currently reading at the moment. And there's also lots of fighting, which is wonderful in any story. I promise you though, this isn't the princessy type story and Val is no Cinderella (if only the people in the book thought so!).
