Milo: Alrighty. We're here.
Sienna: Where's here?
Bryan: Everywhere and nowhere.

I wish he would stop doing that. He knew damn well it made no sense to me.

I stepped out of the van to see a big tall ferris wheel covered in vines.

Jayden: So Milo is kind obsessed with abandoned places. He's been searching for the amusement park for months.
Milo: Isn't it glorious?
Gabby: It's... it's something milo.

Gabby patted him on the back.

I was walking through the park with Jayden, Emily and Bryan in silence.

Gabby was taking photos and Milo was just staring in awe.

It was dirty and it smelled weird but there was some form of beauty in it. It looked nicer abandoned.

That's when Levi and Denali brushed past me. Levi was chasing her with a dead rat in his hand.

Denali: Levi that's gross.

He chucked the rat a couple of feet ahead of us.

Sienna: So are you two like together?
Bryan: Imagine

They all started laughing. I had realized I said something stupid.

Levi: No we're twins.
Denali: Do you not see the resemblance?

Now that I'm thinking about it, they both had that same sharp jawline.

Sienna: shit my bad.
Levi: It's all good.
Bryan: So um Sienna, tell us about you.
Sienna: What about me?
Bryan: I don't know. Your life before you got here.
Sienna: Well, this summer my best friend was raped by her ex boyfriend but she forgave him because he only did it to protect her from getting kidnapped by his father. Anyways Yale, my best friend has been dating Charlie for like 2 years now is pregnant. Charlie and Vinnie the guy that raped her-

I said raped with quotation marks because I'm not sure how that works.

Sienna: They used to hate each other but I think they're friends now. Then they got a paternity test and Charlie ended up being the father.
Milo: Sorry to interrupt your teen telenovela but what does this have to do with you?
Sienna: Well Yale is my best friend.
Milo: Okay?
Sienna: What are you getting at?
Milo: Nothing. We should probably get going, we're trespassing on private property and I hear sirens.
Emily: WHAT? Why didn't you say something sooner?
Milo: I was listening to Sienna's story.
Bryan: Guys we should peele! THEY'RE GETTING CLOSE!
Denali: I already have a record.
Emily: WE ALL HAVE RECORDS!

Jayden laughed and started sprinting to the car, we all followed behind.

After about an hour of driving and listening to music, I started to wonder where we were.

Sienna: So um.. where the hell are we? Are you guys gonna kill me?
Gabby: If we were going to kill you, we would've left your body at the park.
Levi: You're safe until we find another one.
Jayden: But like actually Milo. Where the hell are we going?
Milo: I'm taking miss- I'm sorry what's your last name?
Sienna: Gomez.
Milo: We're taking miss- that doesn't flow very well, what's your middle name?
Sienna: I don't have one.
Emily: You don't have a middle name?
Sienna: Nope.
Levi: Well I guess we'll have to give you one.
Bryan: What do you think?
Denali: Alistair
Bryan: Alistair? What the hell kind of name is that?
Denali: Bryan, you're like the best boyfriend ever but I'm gonna need you to shut the hell up.
Jayden: Awww so cute. But I like Alistair.
Milo: Okay than miss Sienna Alistair Gomez.. I'm taking you home.
Gabby: Is this a road trip?
Milo: Yes.
Gabby: Holy shit yes! We haven't gone on an adventure in the longest time.
Sienna: East Lansing is like 12 hours away.
Levi: Your point?
Bryan: Trust us. We do it all of the time, It's a blast.
Milo: And technically it's 11 hours now...

We sat in the car driving and blasting music. We sang at the top of her lungs.

On the way to Michigan, we took a few pit stops at gas stations and stores.

Gabby took some photos.

When we got to East Lansing it was Saturday afternoon. I gave Milo directions to Yale's house. I couldn't go back home.

Yale opened the door. Her brown curly hair was flowing in the wind and her stomach was... it was huge.

Sienna: Goddamn!
Yale: Sienna! Oh my gosh you're back!

She went in for a hug

Yale: Who are these people?
Levi: We broke her out. I'm Levi.
Yale: Hi Levi, I'm-
Milo: Yale. We know. We've heard a lot about you and can I just say, you are very gorgeous.
Yale: Um thank you.. stranger. Does your mom know you're back in town?
Sienna: Nope and I'd like to keep it that way.
Yale: Well Sea, I'm heading over to the hospital, there's something we need to talk to you about.
Sienna: Okay!
Gabby: Alright Sienna we're gonna head out.
Sienna: Wait please stay a while! I want you guys to meet my friends. Especially stue! You'd love him! Yale wouldn't they love stue?
Yale: Um sienna.
Sienna: What's with the grumpy face? Stop being so sad.
Denali: We could stay in town for a while.
Yale: Um yeah, Charlie and I are having a baby shower tomorrow. You guys should come.

Yale handed them an invitation.

Levi: Yeah we'll be there!
Sienna: Okay bye guys. Thanks so much for this!
Milo: It's what we do.

Jayden, Gabby, Milo, Bryan, Emily, Denali and Levi turned around, got back in the van and drove away.

Yale and I sat at her kitchen island.

Yale: So um there's something you should know.
Sienna: One sec! I want to call stue and let him know I'm back in town.
Yale: Sienna.
Sienna: That's weird. He always answers on like the first ring.
Yale: Um Sienna. Stue doesn't have his phone with him right now.
Sienna: Why not?
Yale: He's um.
Sienna: Yale.
Yale: When you were gone, stue was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Sienna: That's not funny Yale.
Yale: I'm not joking.
Sienna: How could he have breast cancer? He's a boy.
Yale: That's a common misconception. Men can have breast cancer.
Sienna: He isn't... is Stue dead?

Burning tears starting forming in my eyes.

Yale: No. No he's alive. He did chemo but it didn't take.
Sienna: How long does he have?
Yale: We don't know but they're trying everything and they said he has a really good chance at fighting this. Stue is strong. He'll get past it.
Sienna: You can't promise that.
Yale: I'm on my way to visit him right now. Do you want to come?
Sienna: yes. I do.
Yale: Alright let's go.
